Same. Pretty much just deciding between the AMB and Carbon Gray at this point. Living in South FL, I don't need all the rock climbing goodies, and not sold on vinyl in the heat. Getting out of the minivan wheels and the lockers for future-proofing are nice with the squatch. Toss on the option...
I get what you're saying, and it's applicable for most. Not really what I meant by decoy pricing though.
A decoy in that sense is a mid tier or price point that doesn't make sense for the purpose of creating perceived value in a big price gap. E.g., if you tell some people it's $1.99 to...
On the positive side: the 3.0tt with 400ish HP and a manual should be great for a 40k ish ride. And it looks like they will have more color options than 5 shades of gray and a couple of blues and reds
Yeah, I was hoping for something more than a facelift and interior revamp with a better engine. Looks too much like the 370z. And that perfectly square grill on such a not boxy car. Lord.
I'm convinced the Big Bend is Ford's shot at decoy pricing. It's basically the mid-grade gas version of the bronco—it mainly exists to create perceived value in jumping up to BD, OB & BL. For some that want particular combos of options not available on the Base, Ford has configured it such that...
Got a 2018 Honda Civic Si with 13k miles. The lease is up in July. Depending on how fulfillment ends up, maybe sell it myself or just turn it in at the end of the lease. Trade-in is unlikely, as they probably don't give me anywhere near the 14k purchase price.
My girlfriend has a mustang with the 2.3 and 10 speed. It can move a mustang nicely, but a detuned version in a car 1k lb heavier? That thought has me leaning toward the 2.7.
