  1. Can Someone Explain Big Bend? (Not trolling)

Explaining the big bend: How do you feel about leather steering wheels? Ok, but how do you feel about $5,000 leather steering wheels?
  2. Can Someone Explain Big Bend? (Not trolling)

They've priced it well to force these scenarios. But right now I'm at v6 basesquatch for me. I'll take that over 2.3 BD all day. Aftermarket can add all the off road perks bd has. Engine, gearing, suspension, and tires are way more important than rails, plates and bumpers IMO.
  3. Can Someone Explain Big Bend? (Not trolling)

All the guys planning on slapping 37s on their dd bronco right now: "hold my beer"
  4. Can Someone Explain Big Bend? (Not trolling)

It's the package that makes no sense to make you say "well golly, I might as well get the black diamond!" Jokes on them, basesquatch, aftermarket leather steering wheel, and don't care about heated seats in Miami. Bang bang!
  5. OBX losing it’s luster

Not too familiar with beaches outside of South FL. Where are there beaches in FL you can drive on?
  6. Hypothetical Poll 2.7L w/ Manual

As much as I wish this would happen, the reality is that the enthusiasts like us on here are not a good representation of the average buyer.
  7. Help With Lockers, Bumpers and Stuff Requested (Base vs BD?)

In Miami here ? Same thinking on the vinyl. I'm leaning basesquatch with 2.7 and aux right now. Literally everything else can be done or at least mitigated by the aftermarket. Not convinced big bend plus mid is worth it at about 6.5k over base.
  8. Dealer info from 9/25 Meeting

Dude, it was a joke, cut the guy a break. I've been the marketing guy in Mike's shoes and had to come out and say we're launching a product on X date knowing full well production or development teams are more than likely not meeting their deadlines. It's not an enviable position.
  9. Dealer info from 9/25 Meeting

Per Mike Levine, late in the first quarter of 2021 includes 2022
  10. Base Model Bronco Thread

Same pretty much. Right now I'm at Base 2dr 2.7 with Sasquatch for gearing and diffs, AUX switches. Everything else can be done aftermarket over the next 3-5 years. I would get a mid package if they offered it on the base, but want us to pay the $5k jump for the privilege to buy the $1.5k mid...
  11. Status Symbol Complex

Yeah I'm not sure who this thread is directed towards. 40k tops is likely the extent of my budget and more than likely keeping it around 36k. If you can afford a 65k bronco, more power to you. No sense in comparing your situation to anyone in here. We're a mixed bunch and all on our own paths...
  12. Hypothetical Poll 2.7L w/ Manual

100%. I would get a base with zero other options if that's all I could afford. Wheels and just about everything else can be aftermarket.
  13. Bronco Tattoos?

I have several, so I'm not opposed to tattoos in general. But I'm out on a car tattoo.
  14. Antimatter Blue real life look - on 2021 F-150

Looks good. AMB Basesquatch is the frontrunner for me right now.
  15. California Bans Sale of New Gas-Powered Cars Beginning in 2035

https://earther.gizmodo.com/california-bans-sale-of-new-gas-powered-cars-beginning-1845157595 Let's enjoy our turbos and exhausts while we can! But then again I live in FL, so that's probably not happening here any time soon.
  16. Sasquatch gearing at highway speed?

Slow down? 80-85 mph in on the freeway in Miami is barely keeping up with traffic
  17. Sasquatch gearing at highway speed?

I've never owned a car with tires in the 32"+ realm and 4.46 or 4.7 final drive. Leaning toward a BaseSquatch possibly with the V6 right now. The gearing sounds good for acceleration and off road, but I'm wondering if it will make highway speed limited. I imagine the 10th gear in the auto must...
  18. Antimatter Blue Thread

Spray paint instead of pay for the white top. Pocket the change. Invest it and become a millionaire. Do two chicks at the same time. Chess, not checkers.
  19. Who feels Ford should scrap all these packages and just let us order what we want?

I definitely wish they would, but that's not happening. It's the way of the american car: 30k car, 30k in options.
