In attempting to install the hitch on my FE, I apparently broke the little retention tab off of the passenger side rear parking sensor harness. Does anyone know if this connector is replaceable? Any part numbers, by chance?? Pics of the connector and broken tab.

This. My son is in month 7 of his wait for his Gobi. The complete lack of functional roof racks (even the Ford version is unobtanium) significantly depletes the usefulness of this truck.

I completed a significant amount of research last night myself. I've just about resigned myself to the fact that if I have to tow anything with a 7-pin or significance, I will end up with another car. Sigh.

Yes, and all that I can find relate to adding the accessories package 4-pin. My question isn't related to that. My question is about adding the factory 7-pin, including all of the factory modules.

I am in need of adding a trailer hitch to my First Edition. Unfortunately the dealer didn't order the towing capability pack. However, in digging around the truck I noticed a harness in the drivers footwell for the trailer brake controller is installed (up near center console junction)...

I’ve had my order for this cancelled twice by different parts dealers, unfortunately. Still seems to be unobtanium, and making my ski trip difficult!

Update - they delivered my truck to me last night. The service I’ve received during this issue has been great overall, honestly. The dealership, my salesman and the service staff have all been excellent. Diagnosis was a bad 4x4 module and potentially the transfer case. Both were replaced...

I know what you speak all too well - I had a Range Rover Sport that was significantly less than reliable, which is what swayed my final decision (among a few other details). Have spent lots of time in a Jaguar loaner.

Ha - no, not a collection. I swap my cars out every 6-12 months as I get bored or interested in something else. As I have been a car guy my whole life, that happens frequently.

I’m down in Stamford. I think the car suffers from some new car issues, but I don’t think it’s any worse than any other car. My diesel Gladiator had EGR issues when I first got it, just not within 10 minutes of ownership.
