That is NOT a 4wd situation. Snow, ice, mud, rocks, dirt = 4wd. Rain of all varieties on pavement = 2wd and proper speed. If you damaged anything it would be the transfer case. Advise not to tell anyone at a dealership service department as they will likely enjoy a hearty laugh and then inform...

That’s 100% normal, some dealers ask for a lot more, and the $100 from Ford was for reservations, which they’re are no longer doing.

I worked at a Jeep dealer for 4 years and 99% of the people did not want the spare rotated due to the minimal extra cost.

Dealers are just using customer reservations as their own personal “orders” knowing that most people will let them keep it for what they’re charging. Ford should transfer those deals to another dealership of the customers choice when situations like this pop up. Shame.
