My wife gave up and bought a Rubicon today. Im still going to persevere and get my res fulfilled from Granger but I’m not going to be surprised if it’s a 24 model at this point.

Probably already stated but thats the oil filter catch that makes it so you have some control over where all the drips go.

Never understood the point of tube doors, nor the expense. People afraid they’re going to go flying from the vehicle laterally? You go through the trouble of taking your doors off only to put some welded pipes in the way?

Those wheels on the black one (AMB?) are hideous, in my opinion, for an off-road vehicle. Should’ve bought an expedition or navigator for that awesomeness. Oh whale.

As long as idiots keep paying it, dealers will keep charging it unfortunately. The adage of more money than brains rings true, because even if most common sense folks said not paying it, some goofball with too much money that has fear of missing out will gladly pay whatever the markup is so they...

It’s crazy that you’re asking a group of random strangers what you should do with a large financial purchase. Also crazy that you’re not already at the dealership.

Production volume will eventually increase, bringing that number down but there will still be a wait. Ford wants money, like any other corporation. Unfulfilled orders are money they don’t have access to.

Appreciate the update and don’t regret my decision at all. Folks need to remember this vehicle is a luxury, not a necessity. Most of the complainers, while not necessarily unwarranted, probably are just suffering from FOMO.
