Especially for folks with trade-ins, it may make a lot of sense to buy local. That's great.
I was at Larry H Miller in Colorado Springs last summer looking at a Sequoia, and every truck I saw had a $1,000 "windscreen nano coating" added. They said it protected the glass from hail damage ? ...
Keep us posted on what they say (or don't say). You're welcome to join! The water is warm.
The more folks that are in, the simpler the logistics become with filling a truck with 6 Broncos and sending it west.
For what it's worth, a number of us tried, and we all struck out with front range dealers. The best we can find is that x-plan will be honored, but that's hardly binding. The Oct 31 deadline to switch your dealer really takes away all of your power.
If Albert changes his mind, he'll need to...
I switched from Phil Long to Granger.
The rep I spoke with said, "Granger? No problem. I keep their dealer number written down on my desk. It saves me a lot of time." ?
That is true, but Granger is also offering $1,000 under invoice without X-Plan. It's $1,300 under invoice with X-Plan.
$1,000 under invoice is a great backup plan when compared with MSRP + higher doc fees if X-plan isn't offered by Ford or honored by the dealer.
I have not ventured beyond fire roads in the mountains (Colorado), but plan on doing so. I am curious about how to prioritize various pieces of recovery gear in a general sense.
Let's assume I'm always with another vehicle, and the following basics are covered:
1) Tow Strap
2) A couple hard...
I will say that simply doing something better than X-Plan would be a nice change of pace. So far we have ... 4 or 5 (?) dealers that are offering either a discount or help with hotel/travel accommodations.
A local dealer offering a bit of cash back or $500 in free accessories would be awesome...
All of them, if that works for you. This is especially important if you're under fluorescent light, which shifts color temperature as the electricity cycles. You can take 5 pictures in a row, and get 5 different depictions of white with those bulbs.
To make it simple, maybe just put a sheet of...
If you could include a sheet of white copy paper in your picture, someone here can color balance the photos so the comparison is a bit more accurate.
Thanks for posting these!
I'll pay you $100 to FedEx them to me, and I'll overnight them back to you. No one will even know they're gone.

The other option on some Bronco models that is relevant for snow is the "Advanced 4x4 with Automatic On Demand Engagement". If you drive in suburbs where you frequently transition from dry/plowed road to snow, you (or others driving your car) may find that a model with that feature is valuable.
I taught my girlfriend, and she picked it up quick. Then I married her, and she told me she hated it.
Fast forward 15 years ... I'm getting the 10 speed auto.
I see an Iowa destination wedding in their future. Albert could officiate, and you could easily get a couple hundred Bronco owners to stand in the wedding party!
I am. It’s only ... 740 miles.
Phil Long hasn’t responded to my emails, and I didn’t like hearing about possible mandatory dealer add-ons. Given that we can’t change the dealer after October, I have to pick someone to trust before the deal is inked. It’s a long drive, but I appreciate Granger’s...
I live in Colorado now, where cars aren't eaten alive like they are back in Illinois where I came from. I still want to think about rust though, as I plan on driving the Bronco forever.
Fluid Film seemed to be a popular choice for the Jeep crowd in Illinois ... and when it comes to rust...
