  1. Rock lights. Worth it getting installed from factory?

Exactly. Rigid lights are expensive, and you can save money going with something cheaper, but Ford has priced them fairly.
  2. Black Diamond v. Badlands

Here are a couple of other discussions that might help: Black Diamond vs Badlands Black Diamond vs Badlands Badlands vs Black Diamond: Advice? I ran the same equation, and decided on Badlands (possibly non-Sasquatch to close the gap further). Nothing wrong with the BD, but I suspect that a...
  3. Early reservation holders

I think 9k is probably low. There were 7k FE reservations in the first day alone.
  4. Are you ready to order? What decisions do you have left?

No, the Black Diamond does not come with (nor can you add) Signature LED lights. You need to drop down to Big Bend to add them as an option for ~$800, or move up to the Badlands to get them standard.
  5. What is Your Unbiased Auto Journalism "Bible"?

Doug Demuro is quirky and his videos have the same format, but I can't wait for his video of a production Bronco. He highlights the features so many of us are pining for: How does the rear seat fold? What does a tall person look like in the back seat? What does the plastic on the dash feel...
  6. Hard top now standard on four door Badlands?

When I build a Badlands 4 door, I show the soft top as standard.
  7. If your Bronco arrives and you don't like it

If I get the Bronco and I don’t like it, then I will be wrong, and I will change.
  8. Bronco Design Team Q&A w/ Andy's All Access

Thanks for posting! At 3:07, is that the Bronco Sport Keyless Keypad Entry? That's a really nice implementation compared to what B&P shows for the real Bronco. B&P shows this ... just like my mom's 1996 Crown Victoria back in the day.
  9. Cyber Orange Badlands with White Top (Render)

This is all I see: It's not my favorite white top combo, but it still looks great.
  10. I'm torn! Can't decide.... (another post)

There's no wrong answer, but I'd go with Option 1: Badlands with 2.7, non-squatch, high pack. Given the off road nature of the Bronco, I see the Badlands as a slightly more desirable. You get the sway bar disconnect, and I think the 33 ATs will have better on-road manners than the 35 MTs. My...
  11. What am I missing? Fully loaded BD vs Wildtrak

I am of two minds on this, but now I'm leaning toward BL with no Sasquatch. It's only $500 more than the loaded BD+sas, and I gain the sway bar disconnect, high level dash (who knows what that means), signature lighting (don't really care, but whatever), and perhaps some interior upgrades...
  12. What is the X-Plan?

There are maybe 3-5 dealers that have offered to beat X-Plan. Now that it's gone, I guess we'll see if it was an average deal or a great one. With so many dealers sticking to MSRP only, I suspect few will get close to what the X-Plan deal was aside from those with dealers that have already...
  13. Rocking it without the spare tire (delete).

This is how Jeeps manage it. I bet the Bronco could do the same.

  16. Will big yellow with 2" lift / 37's fit in the garage?

That’s genius. My wife would never remember to run the hidden ATV winch before backing out of the garage though.?
  17. Will big yellow with 2" lift / 37's fit in the garage?

It’ll fit. You just need to air down to about 10 psi each time.
  18. What is your bright line on savings for you to switch purchase from local to far away (Granger, Stephens, etc.) several 100's of miles.

It's not just about the money. That's part of it, but for me it's as much about finding someone who you trust. There are dealerships that say they will take X-Plan, but won't put it in writing. When asked about mandatory dealer add-ons like VIN etching, they get cagey and say no decisions have...
  19. Colorado Group Buy with Granger

I hope I am wrong! If you’re right, tell me where I can send money for a bottle of bourbon.
  20. Colorado Group Buy with Granger

The way I read it, if you are making a vehicle sale, then you don't need to collect sales tax. If you are making a vehicle purchase, then ... "If a Colorado resident purchases a motor vehicle outside of Colorado and registers it in Colorado, the purchaser must pay Colorado use tax and any...
