I was dead set on the BL with 33s, but will go with BL Squatch instead.
The decision became less about the tires, and more about the 4.7 gearing. I live in CO, and would like the flexibility down the road to go bigger on tires and have a better ratio for crawling. Tires are relatively cheap to...
This is Minzi. She is 8 weeks old and new to our family as of Saturday. She is a Rhodesian Ridgeback 23 hours a day, but for one hour in the evening she transforms into a 4 legged Piranha. Man, I forgot how sharp those puppy teeth are!
With modern collectible cars, the most desirable model is often the best version of that car (probably the last model year). Look at the FJ Cruiser or Defender 90.
When I think of first model year reliability, I break them down into two categories:
Big Items: Engine, transmission, transfer case, etc. These could die prematurely outside of warranty, which is a worst case scenario. However, most of this is not new for Ford, and well sorted already. If there...
The warranty on the Gladiator wasn't voided because it was driven off road. It was voided because FCA believes is that it was submerged in mud. If true, that would be trail damage and not covered by warranty.
I had two reservations: 7/14 and 7/23. I canceled my 7/23 and created a new one a few days ago. That will give me some flexibility if I decide to not convert my 7/14 reservation into a 2021 Bronco.
The auto transfer case will transfer power dynamically to the front and the rear axle, and it is safe to use on pavement. For me, the benefit will be when I transition between plowed roads and snowy roads. Without this feature, you need to be diligent about switching between 4H and 2H as...
I came here to ask the same question. My guess was that it had to do with legal liability, but I'm not sure. If you cause an accident, could your insurance company see some bolt on parts and decide to weight it? If you're over GVWR, I would imagine they could deny the claim.
It is unfortunate...
Definite: Badlands, 4 door, 2.7, Auto, Mid, MIC roof
Maybe: Sasquatch, High, Velocity Blue vs Rapid Red
At this point I think I’ll skip Sasquatch and go High Package instead. Wheels and tires can be added later, and I still struggle with the $2,500 cost of Sas on the BL.
... or a 40 Bronco pileup on i80 leaving Des Moines. The more thing are delayed, the higher the chance that Granger folks are taking delivery in a snow storm!
Here is one discussion on the topic. I measured my garage opening, and I can fit with a roof rack and 35s, but not with a rack or any sort of cargo topper.
