I understand your point, but they had many opportunities to make this right. What Bronco6G does on their own is from the community, not me. Yes, I posted the information for input and support. I feel that the Bronco6G did what they needed to do and that is always appreciated. When we feel...
Hello Bronco6G Community. It is with a heavy heart and an empty garage that I share with you that Lawley Ford in Sierra Vista, Arizona canceled my Bronco order on 1/19/22, just 2 weeks from delivery (scheduled 1/31/22 - 2/6/22). For those of you who have followed the previous thread of you...
Funny story. I chose this dealership because of their close proximity to Ft. Huachuca Army Base (as a Veteran who spent some time there). I also thought I would support the smaller, family-owned, rural dealerships because I knew they had it tough during this pandemic. Boy was I wrong!
It bugs me that dealerships can add whatever they want to our Broncos knowing we cannot shop elsewhere or wait for the "next one." Obviously, I will not walk away from this Bronco, but I am not looking forward to picking it up and dealing with them in person now. I'm picturing them trying to...
My sentiments exactly. Why would I order a BB mid pgk and get a low-cost alarm and low-cost tint--especially on a soft-top? It does not make any sense to me and it is unbelievable that they just said they would not take the "accessories" fee off the price.
Exactly! The sales manager mentioned a few times that they can get much more on their lot and I can cancel my reservation if I want! Of course that's not what I want. After such a long wait, I want the Bronco I ordered for the price I expected--without unnecessary "accessories."
I sent them an email detailing my concerns and how I would like to negotiate/compromise. Its in their court now so we will see what they come back with. I would much rather them come back at a minimum with a counter-offer (or something other than saying "you should feel lucky that you're...
I decided to list my old truck on Craigslist. I expect to get much more than the dealerships are offering. Also, it now has 190k miles so it will likely get sold at auction anyways.
Yes, this does seem to be the issue -- and dealers are keen to it and taking full advantage (not all dealerships, but many). Perhaps Ford will step in and require purchase orders/buyers contracts to accompany orders? Probably not, but wishful thinking.
Thanks. I appreciate the reminder that we're all in this together. One for all and all for one, right? Every new Bronco out there has one of our names on it and we have to make sure that we aren't being taken advantage of. I will keep fighting this fight, hoping to help someone else along...
I hear ya, brother! But if we just keep being submissive to whatever the dealerships throw at us, when does it end? $3000 "accessories," $5000? Where would you draw the line? I'm just asking for transparency, that's it. I get the fact that a lot of people are paying more, but I didn't...
Yes, the market will be corrected at some point, which is why dealers are trying to rob us now--when we have not other options. Once they are on every lot, these things will not happen. I used to say I would never buy a new car for many of these reasons, but here I am...in line with the rest...
