I appreciate your response; however, I am not sure that it is accurate. There are numerous reports of dealerships marking up the F-150 Lightning with "ADMS" and "Market Adjustments," and the Ford separation (see link below) only mentions that the ICE and E-vehicles will be mostly independent of...
That really stinks for all those reservation holders who will not be delivered for several more years. I'm not sure how Ford messed up the Bronco rollout so badly? It seems they have learned with the F-150 Lightning. Reservation options for the Lightning are closed during the "ordering"...
Unfortunately, I did not walk away. I asked to negotiate and they responded with a phone call to let me know they are canceling my order (but keeping the Bronco).
Hello and yes, I realize that research is important. Before I made my reservation, I called 8 different dealerships to ask them about their prices, fees, "extra deposits" etc... At the time, I felt comfortable with this dealership. It appears the salesman is new and did not know much...
Just for clarification to Lawley Ford, I did not ask the Bronco6G Community to leave negative reviews of your dealership. They were provided facts and they responded on their own. While I would never condone this behavior, consumers have the right to express their opinions.
I agree, but where do we draw the line? If 1500 is not too much, then what is? 2500? 5500? 10000? I am standing on the principle of "lets negotiate/compromise." If the dealership is unwilling to give it any consideration, that is not a dealership I want to work with.
Hello and I agree that this builds anxiety in all of us. The important take away here is to ask for a purchase agreement as soon as you make your reservation (or asap). Be sure the dealership signs their copy and you sign your copy. That should give you some degree of relief (and sanity).
I'm afraid to say I don't have Twitter (or any other social media). Bronco6G is it! The dealer thought I was all over the social media, but he was entirely wrong. I'll find a way to tween him. I'm sure he will probably block me like so many others, though.
Fine, call it an ADM, Addendum, Hardship Fees, Covid Costs, etc..., but don't add nonsense items and say that every vehicle comes with them. I just spoke with another dealership who said they put all that stuff on vehicles on the lot, but not new deliveries. Its unnecessary. Like others have...
The MSRP in the "tracker" was not accurate for me or the others in my build group. I would just ask the dealer for a purchase agreement so that you can show your "bank." They'll give it to you and just make sure there are no extra fees!
Just be sure you get a buyer's agreement and do not agree to any extra fees. I don't want you to lose it like I did, but you should stand your ground. Good luck, my friend! Enjoy that Bronco.
I wish. I settled for the 2.3, soft-top, no constraints and viola! It got built. Even without the recent 2.7 issues, I think I would rather have the 2.3. After driving both, I felt the 2.3 is plenty powerful and was fun to drive--kind of like those old miatas!
Hello. My build date was 1/10/22. According to the pizza tracker, my delivery date is 1/31/22 - 2/6/22. If you have a way to help me, please do. I'm open to any suggestions at this point.
I agree. Previous to this situation, I asked about the "Bronco Satisfaction Fund." The manager practically asked me to go ahead and cancel if I want if I wasn't happy with their response. That's when I first requested a dealership change--I just called Ford and all they can tell me is that...
The Bronco6G is doing what they have to do. I don't blame them. Unfortunately, some dealerships still feel that they can do whatever they want without recourse. By ourselves, we cannot do much, but when we band together, I have seen many dealerships fold. That may not have been the outcome...
