Updated solution:
1. I used a pair of pliers to slowly bend the top seatback hooks to be more open, it was hot in the truck so they stayed flexed, but I had to move fast.
2. I got the hooks flexed more open, positioned the top edge of the seatback maybe an inch below the MGV seam, and used the...
Those look really cool, and match the Badlands' "theme" perfectly with the topo lines. I have an original set, so I don't think I'll change them, but I would've definitely gotten these. My original set is awesome, so much better than the fabric seatbacks
I've been above 20mpg for the last few tanks on 93 octane with mixed driving, I keep saying it but I think it'd easily get 2-3 more with a hi-flow muffler, FMIC upgrade, and maybe an intake
I lifted the cover a bit and just worked on the MGV part, but I'm sure the foam is fighting me. Its like I need someone to sit in front and hug the plastic to the seat while I get the hooks it. I don't try using a pry since that'll just slip and go right through the fabric.
So, I jumped on a set of IAG seat covers over the 4th weekend, and spent this afternoon getting the front seats done. I'm just about finished, but cannot get the seatback Molle panels back on the seat for anything. There are hooks at the top that go into holes in the seat frame, but I can't get...
I finally caved after looking at them for months and bought a set of the red leather seat covers from IAG, for $149 why not? I'm psyched they're perforated, I've noticed the MGV can get a bit sticky, and I think the color will really break up what is otherwise a sea of gray in the middle of...
Is there any chance for a Raptor version? I'm wondering because I plan to upgrade my hinges at some point (and I guess actual Braptor owners might care )
I've been seeing 19.5mpg in mixed driving for the past few fill-ups, and that's on a stock Badlands with 37psi K02s, 7MT, and 93 octane. I'd bet with a less-restrictive muffler, a better FMIC, and full syn oil that I'd break 20mpg pretty easily.
^I mentioned a Ranger, Maverick, GMC Canyon, etc., its mostly about what it is.
@RagnarKon Yeah, mine is the "tuff" vehicle, she went with a Limited over the Trailhawk when we got the Renegade so same thinking, the Overland is basically the Gladiator's Outer Banks trim anyway. I've shown her...
We have had a 2019 Jeep Renegade since new, and its been my wife's car, but also the roadtrip/go-to car. She's getting bored with it, and mentioned last week how much she keeps noticing Gladiators. This is news to me, since she didn't like the idea of me getting one last fall, but she loves the...
Here is how I wired driving lights into AUX6 using the relay harness from the lights themselves: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/rewiring-the-aux-switches-for-more-power-edit-solved-how-to-wire-in-relay-and-lights-to-aux.68769/
