I vote green, and that's as someone who was shopping for that color in particular, but I found the spec I wanted without an ADM in black. Eruption looks awesome, and green overall is less common than blue.
Or, you could get Chili Pepper 😈
Mine is currently being worked on, its been almost two weeks. I just found out it'll be in the shop for who knows how long since there is a backorder on slave cylinders, it wasn't reusable, so now its my turn to play the waiting game :cautious:
BTW, not sure if its been mentioned yet, but it...
I haven't done that much diving into the Ranger/Bronco parts bin, except for thinking about an brake upgrade, but I love seeing what other OEM stuff there is. Is there any kind of comparison or list of what kinds of stuff us Bronco folks could use from the pick-up?
My mom had a 2007 535 from new that was a pile, and went through a bunch of warranty stuff before the turbos crapped themselves at like 57k. If it was an NA engine I wouldn't worry so much, but no one jumps to BMW when people ask about which car companies are the most reliable.
I don't think that's that big of a deal, they had the transmissions sitting somewhere because they bought X amount already, it was cheaper (and, for long-term business, probably wiser) to just eat them, install them, and fix the ones that people complained about. Its the shockwave effect, you...
I wanna know what this means for the manual's stop-sale, does that mean 4-banger Badlands are not available until Ford figures out the MT88 issues?
For what it's worth, power isn't an issue 🥵
I thought it said no 2.3/auto for the BL, so that'd mean either 2.3/manual or 2.7. I Wildtrak is popular because they look good, are loaded, and are easier to shop for specific options. The Badlands is the higher-cost sweet spot trim, but there is a lot of crap to add on if you'd like, with the...
Honestly, that's fine, I have a non-SAS and really like the suspension, handling, etc., I just wish I had the 3.0 steering stuff for when I eventually use this damn thing to do what its made to do. Like, I haven't off-roaded yet, but I'll be ordering or making a tie rod repair kit in the very...
If I own a long-term classic it'd be my mk1 TT, but that's been modded and I have more parts in waiting, so ehhhh. I've also owned it 16 years (holy crap!), so I can comment on its provenance. It'll be a Barret-Jackson darling in 2040 🥳
I do plan to keep the Bronco, and will probably do small...
That's the number 1 thing that would've nailed the whole truck for me, the rear gate and window are effective, just awkward. With a roll-down rear window Ford could've just hidden the wiper mechanism behind the spare. A bonus would be that the rear hardtop shell is lighter so it'd be easier to...
^ Broncos get updates all the time, there essentially isn't a difference, it'd be an update like anything else receives at this point. They could add a few options, in case anyone wants to keep the original, and even something as simple as different colors would help. The instrument cluster...
The fire truck build is sweet, and if you look carefully Ford chopped off the back of the rear hardtop ;) It'd be a lot easier to hack off the back window and hardtop structure as the back of the cab, it'd ape the factory look, keep the heater (and apparently the wiper with creativity), and...
I've thought about looking, but that was when I saw/thought that it started at $58k, $70k+ seems a bit much, but maybe I'm still pretending prices are from 2017. I really like the wagon, but the build I'd want would probably cost $30K more than what my Bronco is.
I also have a really hard time...
I just read through this whole article, and really like the concept of it. I'm waiting to see v2 in gray, and wondered if something like an FRP coating inside the housing would provide extra stability.
