I haven't dropped the wheel that low ever, but the amp is installed in that picture, and you can see it maybe protrudes above the bracket horizontally maybe a 1/4".
I'd be really surprised if the column actually made contact (my BS meter is going off hard), I'll stick a borescope up there and see.
It's actually a pretty decent location. There is a factory aluminum bracket you can take off without interfering with anything else, mark and drill some holes, and mount the amp back up out of the way under the column while still being pretty accessible. One of the mounting screws makes a...
This is the important part. It describes your symptoms exactly. The bass dial is absolutely useless in my setup because of this. Bass will go from 0-100 in mid-song, or just stay zero for days at a time.
Love this shot. You ever race against the Ironman Ford?
This is my vote for the livery, really oughta set the Toyota guys off 😅
Absolute banger of a restoration thread here.
Classic OG off road racing Flickr album here.

Are the 2DR and 4DR front panels identical? I didn't think they were, but their compatibility says both.
Edit: their Bronco generations patches are kinda awesome. Needs a 2DR 6G though to be perfect.
Sort of went through this with the heated wheel install.
I used As Built Compare tool found on the F150 forum, that let me put a Lux VIN abt file up side by side with my High as-built and showed line by line comparison with the differing values highlighted in red. I was able to make some...
I hate that I don't hate this.
That chrome mod bumper would look absolutely killer on a Stroppe. Great old school/new school blend. Iconic Silver grille on White is a stellar look, too.
I think the blacked out B and C pillar elements and the running boards would also be chrome though, if...
