22 auto. Non SAS BL 19k miles. Just not as smooth as it used to be. Could just be the adaptive function which I hate. Anyone else feel the tranny gets a little jerky after a few years? Seems a little soon. Could just be me.
Only hear it at very slow speed. Very faint. Only those with OCD like me would hear it without being told to listen for it. I hear when you are coming to a stop. Slow whirl sound. Doesn’t appear to be engine. Doesn’t change with AC blower speed. Stops when I stop and it’s not heard above that...
OEM after 18k. Bronco obviously sucks lots of air to burn all the fuel needed to achieve the high smiles per mile. Replaced with a WIX for $30 shipped. Nothing available locally except parts store generic.
I’m not a suspension expert or off road expert. However I am a thinker. I never stop. Since the Bronco likes to lift a rear wheel high when opposite side is compressed. I’m sure IFS plays a big part as well. Seems the Bronco gets dangerously tippy in that situation. Would some type of deployable...
Anyone had a hard shift into reverse. As in it bangs into reverse. Has only happed 3 times if memory serves me. 3 yrs 18k miles 10spd auto. Not concerned since it’s infrequent. Not sure, may be shifting into reverse quickly from drive. Just asking.
With warranty expiring. And hit or miss dealer work quality. Nevermind the cost. I think a decent code scanner might be worth investing in. Any recommendations? My Bronco has been pretty good. But it’s a matter of time if you follow the forum.
If you look closely you will see a very small volume indicator followed by the correct size. Very delayed. Only correction is turn off vehicle and maybe next time it’s ok. Or do the reset twice. First time the indicator works correctly except no sound. Second reset gets sound back. Been this way...
see quite a few on market place. Think they are legit? Anyone been burned by fakes? Prices don’t seem too unrealistic but low enough to peak my interest.
Who has had it done? Saw one pic and new seals do not match. Same for everyone else? Goes in for shock inspection and I brought up this repair since warranty expires in November. Mine don’t rattle really much at all, but would hate to have it worsen out of warranty. Won’t do it if it doesn’t match.
watched a video of possible failed E-locker which leaves the Bronco as a sitting brick. Is this true? Possible? If so I was thinking about a possible dummy load circuit which could be plugged in, representing itself as a functioning locker and load it presents to the computer. Any first hand...
