That's a good point, maybe the heated seats will help it all dry out. Hopefully water doesn't go through the leather, but I'm sure some water has to get in somewhere...
I want the rubber floor so if I get caught in the rain, I won't have to worry about anything, but what about the seats? I have a BL and FE reserved. I just realized that the FE has rubber floors, but obviously leather.
What if they get wet? What do people do, scotch guard them? Bees wax?
Agree. Those should warrant the same rpm/highway speed, but yeah, the 35's should add more weight and road resistance.
It's the unique combination of Badlands 2.3T and 7-speed manual with 33's that gives you the 4.7 gear ratio. Will be nice if/when I upgrade to 35's
My guess would be 1-2 mpg but it's just a guess. I have the optional 3.73 gear in my Mustang GT and I get about 2 mpg less on the highway than advertised.
But it's much more fun to drive.
According to this option list, it looks like I can get a Badlands with the 7-speed and still get 35" tires. 315/70R17 BSW Mud-Terrain (M/T) (35") are an option. So no Sasquatch package, a High Clearance Suspension and 35" tires all while having fun navigating 3 pedals. :giggle:
Looks like the 10 speed auto is standard on all 4 doors except the Badlands, so I read that as the BL is the only 4-door where you can get a 7 speed manual.
As if being a Cleveland Browns fan isn't bad enough, every time I get in my Orange First Edition with blue interior, all I will see is Denver Broncos. :cautious:
That Badlands backup reservation is looking better and better....
That would apply to anything. Adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, auto pilot.
If they did "What ifs" like that, you'd lose a lot of fun features.
I don't know.... Electric brake, so no chance of it being half engaged. Either the tranny or the ebrake is keeping your vehicle from rolling away. I don't see the difference.
Old convertible trick, tilt both seats forward to keep the sun off the seats. Assuming they do tilt forward for rear access. The 2 door should for sure I would think.
