I'm guessing this won't be a Ford option out of the gate. People say the Dana 44 is good for up to 35's. That Cyber Orange with the 2" lift and 37's had a completely different rear axle. My guess is it'll be a Raptor type of version in a year or so.
Same here. I spent the first 2 hours after the reveal hitting refresh and finally got a FE at 10:15pm. THEN I looked at the specs of everything. Only 4 colors available, no 7-speed manual, possible limited interior, etc, so I reserved a Badlands the next morning. I also don't like the graphics...
So is this the one-off 2" lift and 37's? Or is this a Sasquatch?
Edit: Now I see another video where he said it's the 2.3t/7m, so they're 33's lol. WOW that looks great.
Edit Edit: Now actually I don't know. The video I watched might have been talking about the black 2-door...
Agreed. I'll be leaving the top off with the seats down and am expecting getting caught in the occasional rainfall won't do any damage. So the leather backs will need some protection.
Maybe everyone knew this but me, but I think this confirms the 2-Door "Modular" hardtop does NOT allow for the rear side windows to be removed, but has a big rear Moonroof that can be removed. I wish the side windows came out...
I'm starting to think the same. You can see the removable glass on the 4 door has about 2 inches of black plastic for the button release. I don't see that piece on the 2 door with the gloss painted hard top.
4 door:
2 door (Best zoom I could find):
Dumb question, but "Modular" solely means the rear glass comes out, right? Those glass pieces on the 2 door are physically bigger (Compared to the 4 door), hopefully that doesn't limit the ability to take them out.
I have just some one off towing experience, so I don't know much, but I'd like to get a trailer that definitely fits under the 3,500 limit. Hopefully a few hundred pounds under. So my purchase will be driven by advice like yours and others.
I watched a 4 door Wrangler video of a under 3,500...
