Another vote for @AccuTune Offroad. I installed a set of Kings on my Badlands, and they customize the shocks to your needs and to overcome some natural geometry issues that the Kings have (too much droop for CV’s in the front). I am a fan.
Do you know if the performance calibration is removed automatically because it is reverting to stock? If so, I wonder if the rack calibration is the same.
I just received my ECU and programming laptop from @ZFGracing. I am excited to start the process, but have a few questions.
Do they pull your stock file from your existing ECU and install that on the new one? I ask because I have the Ford Performance Tune and the upgraded steering rack...
I have an iPad mini mounted on an Archetype Racing “The” D grab handle using a RAM Mount EZ-Rollr’ case. I use the iPad for my JB4 tune, OnX, Gaia GPS and other maps.
I did a road trip from Houston to Colorado Springs and back a month ago. On the way back I noticed that my gas mileage had dropped SUBSTANTIALLY, despite nothing changing with my Bronco or driving. I could not figure out what on earth might have caused it. Until this thread...
I use 93...
I went with Hertz CX 100 4” in the dash corners and center and Hertz MP 165.3 Pro 6.5” mid-bass in the kick panels (these mid-bass speakers were a recommendation from Fraser @mObridge).
They all sound fantastic with the MoBridge amp. Especially the kick panels.
My only unsolicited, new to car...
@genesisoffroad
I installed the dual battery kit today. However, I had issues closing the hood. I made some modifications and made it work, but was curious if you had run into this before?
Otherwise, great piece of kit.
This is my setup. Modular bumper, Ford Performance winch kit, DIY sensor relocation and Mountains 2 Metal camera relocation kit. Everything works like factory, even ACC (without relocating the sensor).
I have the AWE 0FG paired with CVF downpipes. It is loud. Really, really loud. The tone is great, low and throaty. Did I mention it is loud?
I did full sound insulation (kilmat and foam on floor and rear cargo area, soundskinz door kit for the doors) and it helped immensely. I did a 2,000 mile...
This is what I did and am quite happy with the result. I used Hertz Deci 4” in the dash and Hertz Mille Pro 165.3 Pro in the kicks. They are a midrange woofer and sound fantastic in the front soundstage. I was getting more “volume” with coaxial in the kicks, but it now sounds way more full...
Another vote for @mObridge . I installed mine last weekend (along with new speakers) and it is the best sounding stereo I have ever had.
Also, the customer service is top notch.
Where are you located? I can make you a deal on SAS shocks (with Eibach pro lift springs), SAS fenders, rear bumper caps, track bar and upgraded UCA’s. All you will need are wheels and tires.
