According to Bronco Nation, the manual Sasquatch will be the same price as the automatic Sasquatch. Ford is getting a few extra bucks because we’ll pay it.
Oh yeah. That's going to be ass when they jack up packages. The didn't really on the Mach E but that vehicle had virtually no packages. The volume trim didn't have "packages" besides the battery sizes. I am definitely worried that Ford will increase the Sasquatch package or the mid, high, packages.
He's not assed out on price protection. He'll get a certificate based on his 2021 order. It could be more or less than another model. Sure, this launch has been garbage. I sure as heck don't have mine Bronco either. But Ford has to make decisions that are easy to apply and aren't complicated...
Why would they have told us before 10/01? People would switch their orders to the combination with the largest certificate amount. They should give you the value difference of whatever you were going to order for 2021.
It would be nice if their communications actually said something. The other communication this week was 6 paragraphs of Ford shrugging. They could have just sent an IDK meme.
I would have bought the hybrid if it had AWD. They have it on the Escape and I am surprised they didn't offer it on the Maverick. I assume a PHEV with AWD will come at some point. Just make the rear axle and e-axle and be done with it.
There is no empirical evidence to suggest that. I guess I could ask my Ford buddy that has access to the data if there are more failures on Explorer ST transmissions vs Explorer 2.3 transmissions. It will certainly vary by owner.
CR says that about a lot of transmissions. And some of the programming of the 10R transmission (both 60 and 80) has been not good. I put a few thousand miles on an Explorer ST recently and I didn't have any issues. Neither did my wife.
There's been a lot of people complaining about the 10R80...
Ford isn't going to put a transmission in the Bronco that you are going to explode off road. They've done proper durability testing. There's a reason why 10R60 was okayed for 2.7TT and the 7-speed manual was not.
I have done the research. In order to get where I go 20+ weekends a year, I would be dependent on two charging stations with relatively fast charging capability. During my drive I have to decide which way to go. Then I am dependent on one charging station. If there is a problem with it, I am...
