  1. What changes you think Jeep will make to the Wrangler??

Absolutely agree. Eliminating the SFA entirely would be worse than keeping the SFA on all models. I think at least most of us can agree on that. However, introducing IFS on, say, Sport and Sahara models, while keeping the SFA on Rubicon and Willys models, may be akin to entering the pool from...
  2. My First Sighting - Iconic Silver Bronco Big Bend 4-Door MIC Top

Awesome. I used to work at Mercedes-Benz here in Florida, we had rounds of tests with development mules in the winter time specifically for testing emissions systems with cold weather fuels in warm climates. Wouldn't be surprised if its the same thing. Still think it's an excuse for the...
  3. Manual Transmission Q&A Master Thread

Alright, here’s my question, as the answer still remains unclear (to me): 4 door 4 cyl BASE, is MY21 available with the manual? Will MY22 & the availability of manual trans paired with Sasquatch be an option in the BASE trim? B&P conflicts other Ford documents I have seen. My dealer reached...
  4. Will Jeep switch to IFS in the Wrangler?

yeah, the sedan segment sure does look like it’s dying. but, we did see Ford respond to the Dodge TRX with the promise of a V8 in the Raptor for 2022, dubbed the Raptor R. We saw the rear suspension go from leaf sprung to coil, like what’s in the Bronco. And apparently there will be a Bronco R...
  5. Will Jeep switch to IFS in the Wrangler?

It was mentioned above, but EPA will “kill” the SFA in the Jeep. It almost killed it in the JL. EPA was the reason for the raked windshield. I think many of the folks that have Sport models and a set of 35s that mostly drive on the road would greatly benefit from IFS. I think that the Rubicon...
  6. The questions that don’t deserve their own questions thread (2021 Ford Bronco)

We’re going to need an engine exhaust brake! ?
  7. The stupid questions thread

probably it will and probably you are not paranoid this is a really good question. Most OEM ICs heat soak quick. One good hit and it heat soaks, the next hits power reduces considerably. So bigger IC will just make back-to-back hits more consistent. An aftermarket aluminum version would be...
  8. 'Squatch with manual still not on B&P?

I know we’re all working off of preliminary specs, but I wager that a Sasquatch with 285/75R17s, non-Sasquatch front bump stops and aftermarket sway bar disconnects will have Badlands travel and have no tire rub (but prob get close!).
  9. Mullinax Ford clarifications

Law of supply and demand. What's that saying? "Don't hate the player, hate the... demand?"
  10. Get Sasquatch Package or go aftermarket?

Yeah I agree with you. The main selling point is upgraded strength front diff. It's just going to be some time before an aftermarket gets in there to build a stronger front diff. But as you know, the BL already comes with it. The BL without Sasquatch is already better than I am driver so I'd...
  11. Get Sasquatch Package or go aftermarket?

No I have not had any second thoughts. The M210 iron case front diff vs the M190 aluminum is just a non starter. EDIT this is for anything but Badlands trim. If I were to get a BL, I probably WOULD pass on the Sasquatch package.
  12. Mullinax Ford clarifications

I've got a Sept 22nd reservation, so I'm going to wait till all the dust settles. I haven't seen anything I don't like yet. If I get a fair deal I'll be happy.
  13. Antimatter Blue Bronco Sasquatch spotted on the road

Looks good. Honestly with Sasquatch package I’ll tale any color but red.
  14. Ford. Give us a Sasquatch Badge.

    I’ll start shopping for a 3D printer.
  15. Built Bronco Badlands vs Wrangler Rubicon Side by Side Look

Certainly I agree with this. The SFA will be better in the rocks. The solid front axle in the Jeep may be seeing it’s last days, however. Toyota Pickup and 4Runner went to IFS in the 80s, Toyota Land Cruiser to IFS in the very late 90s, Ford to the TTB in the 80s (I think but maybe earlier?)...
  16. Bronco vs Raptor F-150 sand drag race + Cactus Gray Badlands Sasquatch walkaround

In my humble opinion, there are no losers in that race.
  17. The questions that don’t deserve their own questions thread (2021 Ford Bronco)

Assuming the Goodyear Trritory tires will be the same height as the Duratracs (34.4”), and engine idle of 800 RPM,a Sasquatch Manual will crawl at just under 1 mph, as I calculate. https://4lo.com/calc/gearratio.php
  18. Front lockers, aftermarket? Disco bar?

Well with the huge caveat of I haven't driven a production version Bronco yet, I would agree with you. An anti-sway bar is just another spring in the suspension, but instead it being between a wheel and the frame, it is between two wheels. All it is is a torsion spring like you'd find on...
  19. Front lockers, aftermarket? Disco bar?

Looks as though its just a softer sway bar that isn't meant to be disconnected during use.
