I had 215/85R16s on my 1996 LR Discovery. They were about 30.5ā tall and skinny. Some others used 235/85R16 on their Discoveries. I read...
speedometer calibration would do it. Years ago when I worked at Mercedes Benz, there was the ability to ācodeā, manually, settings in some ECUs. Now everything is SCN coding, which is held on databases in the cloud, and manually setting coding is not allowed with dealer tools. Otherwise, I would...
Im wondering what type of aftermarket fenders will be available (seeing how the fenders and body are āmodularā) to allow large tires with minimal suspension lift.
Iām going to order a Base Manual Sasquatch 4 door. I really dig everything, but Iām not a huge fan of the tire size. I, personally, wouldnāt choose that size for my needs. Iām going to give them a shot because Ford specāed them and they know things I donāt. However, if I donāt like them, my Plan...

Well, half as much rotating assembly, if an 8 cyl has two turbochargers, than half as many charge tubes, vacuum lines etc... half as many injectors.... half as many coils and plugs... Yeah still one crank, but 4 cams vs 2 cams... This is like, pretty basic.
OK, modern 4CYL vs modern 8CYL... 4CYL has about half as many parts to fail. Sign me up for the 4 cylinder. It'll make gobs of low end torque for what it is. Plenty enough. The 2.7 is plenty for those who want more.
For those who want an 8 cyl, than swap one in. Swap in a Coyote, or an LS, or...
