No way, you mean to tell me that our 2021's are finally out of the recall fiasco? Say it ain't so.
You jinxed it… now your spare tire was probably installed wrong from factory which will cause the swing gate to come loose and fall off and increase a risk of a crash lol

Reminds me of my old Ford Focus RS's 345 hp 2.3L engines when a bozo at the engine assembly plant stuck the wrong head gasket (looked almost identical to the normal 2.3L gaskets except for one extra coolant passage) on an entire batch of these particular RS higher HP 2.3L powerplants. Ford had to recall the lot to check on the proper head gaskets. As a engines failed. Engines were assembled in Spain I believe.

I have some stories from that. Short version is I never got my RS (Ford temporarly lost it / didnt fall in the Atlantic ocean either) instead I bought what I have in my garage today by luck. Another friend did get his RS and yup needed the right HGs.

Finally the 2.3 catches up to the 2.7
Yep they had to re-design it and mess it up. Leave it to engineers. Lol. (me dodging flying pocket protectors). 🤣

Jeeps have Badges for Trails, maybe we should make badges for recalls we survived?
My old XJs needed single digit badges for consecutive days in operation.

Anyone here with a Bronco w the 1.5 engine? And out of those, is that enough to run w 37s and a sweet lift?
Pretty sure 1.5 corresponds to the Bronco sport. I’d imagine it would struggle if you managed to fit 37s though. Dropped 4-5 mpg just putting Toyo at3s in factory size on it.

Just traded my 23' Grand Cherokee for a 26' Bronco with the 2.3, one week ago. Anyone what to guess what month it was manufactured in according to the sticker in the door jam. The jeep had 4 recalls on it one of which still didn't have a fix. I was hoping for a little better from Ford. They've had how many years to figure this engine out.

They redesigned the 2.3 for 2025. All it really needed was the fuel injection upgrade but no… they had to dick with it more.
