For those that have traded up from a Sasquatch to a Raptor for a daily driver, how is it?

I currently have a '24 Wildtrack that has a vibration that Ford can't fix, so one way or another I'm done with it. I purchased it originally because I thought it would be an awesome vehicle to have at the beach, which is where I spend most of my weekends. I also like having something smaller than my lifted crew cab F-150 to drive back and forth to work since I have to park in a parking deck. Other than the annoying vibration, this current Bronco fits the bill. It actually is a fun beach vehicle, and it is way easier to maneuver in a parking deck, but now I'm faced with having to decide what I'm going to replace the vibrator with, I find myself wanting to get a Raptor. The problem that I have is from everything I can read, it seems like I may just end up with 2 big a55 vehicles that are a little pain to drive around the city in and could be difficult to park. Admittedly the camera systems on the newer trucks, and the current Bronco I have takes some of the stress out of driving them, id still like to hear from those that made the jump what they thought about it.

The parking garage is going to be your biggest unknown unless you can

1.) Test drive a Bronco Raptor to your parking garage and see how it fits/feels.
2.) borrow/go with someone in their Bronco Raptor to see it in the parking garage.

I am retired and do not have to drive mine every day, but I do most days anyways. I have three vehicles, two of which get better gas mileage, one of those gets double the MPG’s, but I still prefer to drive my Bronco Raptor. I have not had to change anything about my driving habits, parking habits, but I did have to add a soft top. I wanted easy topless days without the worry of these pop up storms affecting my out and about time. I drive about 40 miles a day round trip to swim laps, a retired guy has to have a few hobbies! 1 year in, 21113 miles on the clock and counting….

This is a great write-up. Thanks for this input. That's what I need to hear. Im driving my F-150 these days, the Bronco has been parked. The truck has a 6" lift and 35" tires, so I'm thinking the Raptor will be better than that, and the fact that you prefer driving it over the other vehicles kinda tells the story to me....thanks for the insight.

I went from a Badlands to the Raptor. The Raptor is a very different animal in good way. In my case it is a daily driver and the coolest vehicle I have ever owned.

It actually has a very good turning radius and although I don't feel the need for retro fitting it with the camera style rear view mirror, that is an option to overcome the rear visibility shortcoming of having the spare 37 inch tire and triple brake light. I echo the need to test drive one and focus on the parking situations you will be in especially underground.

Mine spends more time on the pavement but has gone to Moab multiple times and several SoCal desert areas for high speed driving. I will drive it until it falls apart. It has given me 37,000 trouble-free miles and I would not sell it for anything.

I traded a 2025 Badlands Sasquatch for a 2025 Raptor and never though again about the Badlands. The Bronco Raptor is an amazing vehicle. Yes, it is wide and I use the cameras to park except in my garage. I have never had an issue in a garage or parking lot, although I tend to park away from others and walk. Your tires will be close to the lines on both sides.

I did add the Wolfbox TriPro, like I did in my Badlands. It is worth the effort because the spare is big and blocks a lot of the rear view. The suspension and handling are amazing. 80 on I5 through the Central Valley is no problem. However, there is one issue. Even the Normal exhaust setting is loud to anyone sitting in the back. To carry on a conversation with someone in the back, I set the exhaust to quiet.. Not a big deal, but if you're a big Sport mode user, your rear seat passengers may not love it.

I think if you even have to ask that question, you are not Raptor owner material.
Just turn in your man card and dial the tough guy button down to the Prius setting.

Traded a f250 for a '26 Badlands SAS and was very pleased with everything; comfortable ride, much quieter than expected. Life was good until we met the BRaptor. Seats are more conformable, daily ride is just a little bit better and it's quieter still. Brings a smile to our face just walking up to it as we get in. We've had around 3-F150 Raptors and would never consider a "regular" F150 just like we'd never consider anything other than a BRaptor.

The great thing about the '26 Raptor is the rearview camera. I can have the rear stuffed to the top and don't have to worry about visibility.

Good point. Is the full display rearview mirror the only new change for ’26 models compared to ‘25? I ask because I’m still shopping for a new Braptor and have found some leftover ’25 models at that are significantly more discounted than ’26 models on the lot. I am aware that some later ‘25 builds did have full display mirrors available as an option, but finding the right ’25 with that option spec’d is the hard part. I kinda want it after experiencing how bad the standard pre-‘26 rearview mirror visibility is during a test drive.

I have a long thread about this here, I think there’s a good chance this is correct, but it sat at one dealer for 30 days and another one for 14 days and it still vibrates and they aren’t willing to do anything else to it.
