I have a 25 Badlands, Sasquatch, 2.7, painted roof, leather seats and carpet and really don't notice any tire noise at all. Nothing to complain about whether going 70 MPH or 20 MPH

What was your vehicle before getting a Bronco?

Arguing subjective topics is always good entertainment....🤠

I find my 2 door Sas to be remarkably quiet given what it is.... a rather unrefined 4x4 off-road truck with a 2-piece removable roof, removable doors, and aggressive 35" tires. I was pleasantly surprised on the test drive. 😘

I wonder if the GY Territory that comes on '26 is louder. I never noticed excessive noise from the earlier KO2s, just a whole lot of wind noise.
You could try a 2-door. Less windows, less panel gaps, surely less noise? 🤔
As mentioned above I really don't notice tire noise on my 26 heritage 4 door 7mt, only if windows are open. Biggest issue for me was the booming created by the hardtop and with a little investment in sound deadening it's dramatically better. The op's description sounds like something else entirely.

It’s as loud as you want it to be… all personal perception. I have the same build, don’t even notice the noise.

We had to lower my wifes badlands 4 door.do to knee problems. We put 33 on it with more of a offroad/ street tire.We also put cloth interior i and carpet. So while the carpet was out we sound proofed it.So now you can almost her a pin drop. I heard others say wind noise but hers doesnt seem to have it. Now I also have a 2 door v6 badland sasquatch and that thing is loud and proud..

Do all full size 4 door Broncos make this much tire noise?
The answer is, basically, yes. You can get a little quieter with less aggressive tires and some more aggressive soundproofing, but it’s hard work for little gain.

It’s much more fun to go in the other direction though

Guys,
I want a Bronco so bad. I've been test driving several different Badlands (non Sasquatch) and I'm not sure I can live with the tire noise on this vehicle. Do all full size 4 door Broncos make this much tire noise?

TIA
I have avout $800 in sound deadening and absorbing from.Resonix and closed cell foam.fo floors plus 10 hrs install and makes a difference.

Mirrors and Windshield.surroind as well rear plastic windows generate most noise.

All the broncos with Goodyears have that much tire noise. So do all the f250 tremors with Goodyears. Goodyear tires suck.

Let's just say at 70 MPH you can't carry on a conversation and at in town speeds it's loud enough for me to wonder if I can live with it. I'd be a bit embarrassed if someone jumped into this 70,000 vehicle as I'd feel compelled to tell them it's just an off road vehicle but I'm guessing that's exactly what it is. I'd love to go play on the back roads but getting there is what worries me.
At 70mph, I don't hear any tire noise in my non-Sas Badlands. I hear plenty of wind noise, though. Are you sure it's not wind noise you're hearing?

Sorry but I have zero idea what you are talking about. I don`t need to raise my voice to speak or turn the radio above 10 at highway speed. Tire noise is a zero issue. I`ll ask ,like others have, what are you used to driving ? My other vehicles are 30 to 60 years old, anything new is quiet like a tomb.

Boats are much louder and you can’t have a conversation at 30mph. But still a lot of fun. If noise is an issue don’t get a Bronco. You can add sound treatment as there is essentially none factory installed, lower tire psi from the way it’s shipped. But it will never be quiet.

Coming from a 2017 Colorado, I can’t say I was pleasantly surprised on the HE test drive. It was the other surprise. I was too stoked to care though. Once I took the factory roof rack off the day after I brought it home, then the surprise was more pleasant. The whistling at speed went away.

I came from a 2019 BMW X3. There’s just no comparison. Our 2022 badlands Sasquatch was delivered as a soft top. Very noisy. We ultimately put an MIC hardtop on it. A big improvement, but still nowhere near as quiet the BMW. We just finished a nearly 10k mile cross country trip. My wife is a bit hard of hearing. I had to talk very loudly for her to hear me. Is what it is.

IMHO, you’re asking the wrong group. We’re enthusiasts who tolerate the noise and come to not even notice it. As others have said, if cabin noise levels are important to you, look for something else.

We love our bronco, noise, cracking hardtop and all.

Good luck.
