Like two turtles after some taco bell, they are neck-and-neck until one gets that "blorp blorp aahhhh" and suddenly realizes it's gotta get to the potty before that lettuce gets it's revenge.

I dunno, maybe 1-2 seconds faster in the quarter mile?, all things being equal. There are several Dragy results threads around if you're interested. The 2.7 is faster, so there's no doubt about that. And I have a 2dr Sas w/2.3 and no wish to get the 2.7.

If you're looking to pimp out a 2dr to go faster, @MWILD had a 2.7 and @Ducati1098 has one that's pretty beefy. Both have threads around about those builds.

2.3 is going to be roughly ~1 second slower 0-60 for similar transmissions and packages.
Door count doesn't really make that big of a difference

Stop at a dealer and drive each and see what you think.

Oh, I didn't catch it was a 2dr vs 4dr. Imeen, the only right answer is 2dr, but I digress... 😁

Thank you.

Getting onto the highway from the entrance ramps in my community can be a challenge. The gaps in traffic are small, and the drivers around me are very aggressive. So, I am trying to choose my future purchase wisely.

You won’t have a problem no matter what configuration you choose.

Gearing matters more than engine on that and Broncos run a wide gamut there

I guess I should add that I would be getting the Automagic Trans Miss Eon in either Bronco.

Some places around me it's similar (including some places where on ramps are UP hill, ha), and it's rare that I ever have to put pedal all the way to the floor to get up to speed.

When I was in college I was driving a Jeep Cherokee with a 115 hp motor.. which at my altitude and the age of the engine probably actually put out about 60-70hp max. An engine with "only" 275hp is not going to let you down, hah.

I’ve got the 2.3L base Sasquatch and drive about 70ish miles daily to work. About 60/40 highway to city ratio. It keeps up with north Texas drivers going 75-90 on highways but it will be gulping gas. The miles go down 1 about every 45-60 seconds depending how fast you’re driving.

I’ve owned both and 2.7 is quicker, but when I use to own the 2.3 2 dr it was no slouch.

I prefer the turbo noise you get with 2.3 as it’s a louder whistle than 2.7 TTs but I prefer the engine noise of 2.7

2.3 likes to get high in the rpms (rev happy engine)
2.7 likes to stay lower in rpms due to having a lot more torque.

It’s just preference as both are good options.

Splits of seconds aren't going to matter in traffic.
Really.
Honest.
What do you drive now that you floor it and hold it there while keeping rpm maxed out by shift points?

Get a Sprint Booster or a Pedal Commander. They have many settings, and can take away all the throttle lag that your heart desires. 300 HP in the 2.3 is plenty capable of throwing you back in the seat, once you get rid of the throttle lag that Ford builds in to cripple performance.

Edit to add: I also get better MPG when using the Sprint Booster. My go-to setting is Sport 7.
