I have a A51 2d and had thought when the MIC top cratered out of warranty I'd buy a body color Mod. Then three things, they don't do A51 anymore, this AGM which is similar doesn't do it for me and every time I look the MIC color and texture with that A51 grows on me. Maybe I'd get a carbonized gray Mod???
I'm in the same boat with my A51 2door. Don't really see why they replaced Area 51 with a color almost identical, just different enough to be annoying. I don't hate the MIC grey, but I really wanted a body color top.

Personally not a fan of the body colored roof, but I respect those who are.

I would love to get a painted (non-MIC) hard top in black for my white two door. Mine has had cracks and some weird discoloration from day one. Didn't realize until I joined this forum what an issue this top is. For now I'll live with it but if Ford we're willing to offer the painted tops at even a halfway reasonable price I'd be all in on that.

It won't. Everyday, I root for the world to burn. The sentiment builds throughout the day. But on some days, I barely finish my coffee before I'm content in watching the world burn.
Decaf maybe lmao

Found one! Not sure if I like it in this lighting.
Also not in these photos, but the 2 door interior of the hard top seems different. It is black on the inside of the 2 door while the outer edge of the 4 door is white. Not sure why that is. Can someone confirm that has a '25 2 door with body color hardtop?

Looks odd to me having an AGM HE with a white top but not bad. Our early HE tops were all black/gray inside, I've seen both on the new body colored tops (white or black). I did notice that last night Tim, @FordVideoGuy, posted a video of the new Stroppe and it's black inside.

I was under the impression that the 2-doors painted tops were all white underneath and it was the 4 door painted tops that varied with some being grey under the paint and some being white. I have not yet seen in person or photos a painted 2-door top of any color that wasn't white inside until viewing the video above. My concern is that the grey/black ones may be cheaper/inferior to the white tops. The white tops aren't prone to cracking or honeycomb deforming like the MIC tops but the new grey/black ones may be if they are more cheaply made and it's clear that cheaping out on the roofs was something that Ford identified early in Bronco development as a way to save money vs what Jeep was supplying.

Speaking for the early HE tops, all were black inside and none have had any issues I've read about and we're coming up on 2 years on the road now.

It was my understanding that the current painted tops were the same construction as the original modular tops. I have not heard of any problems with any mod tops, mine is still perfect.

That's my understanding too, only differences I know of are the interior colors and differences in the sound deadening.

One of two absolutely perfect renditions (the other one is the "Ranger"). Too bad it's missing two doors.
I'd say no one's 'missing' those extra 2 doors except the soccer moms!

Not 2 doors but this is all my dealer had today. The window sticker info is identical on all 3 BUT there was 2 white interior colored ones and 1 black. The Heritage was a white interior color as well.

I did a build on the Ford website and then found one in dealer inventory. Looks so good with the black painted top. Going to price out a wrap and see how it comes out.
