Yeah looks like some active electronics integrated circuit at end of connector wires. This is what it needs to satisfy the sensor - to stop dash warning & dash light. It could be sending some digital signal. Could be hard to spoof

TRW 34332262 - as @mcinfantry showed in his photo

This IC w connector tucks under the floor liner easy w/o the bulky buckle & anchor

Yeah !! lol
I bought some spare buckles from Ford and just tore them apart to get the electronics IC w connector wires.

When I removed the rear seats I left the buckles attached for easy re-install if ever. To take em off seemed too destructive

And removing this electronics IC w connector from the spare buckles was way destructive in my case just threw away the rest of buckle/anchor debris

Thanks for listing those part numbers.
I posted it elsewhere but when I bought the two buckles from Ford OEM Parts Depot, one was $15 and the other was $50. Someone suggested I could have just bought two of the cheaper. I’m sharing in case it helps.

I have an extra set of rear buckles. How did you guys open them up to remove the guts? Hulk smash, or is there a trick to prying them open?

Also, I’m planning to unbolt the belt and stash it in the side trim. My understanding is that moving this does not cause any errors (like the buckles), is that correct? Thanks.

I don’t recall exactly because it’s been a long time but feel like I was able to just stick a flathead in through a gap where the wire comes out and release the plug then pull it out?

I know this is an older thread, but sure wish I could find one of these for $15 now! Wonder if that was a pricing mistake back when you purchased. Both part numbers come up around $53 from what I can see today. ouch 🤕

How many actual bolts hold the seat back to the floor?

Is there any place to buy just the TRW 34332262 sensor?

Seems like it would be less costly and easier to stash.

Some just bought extra buckle assemblies and disassembled them for the sensor. As far as cost savings, it doesn't matter if you buy the right or left assembly (buy whichever is cheaper) as you are only wanting the sensor.
