Video: Bronco Doesn’t Drive but engine is running and no error codes

My Bronco began being really jerky when turning, took it to the shop but they couldn’t detect any thing since it’s intermittent.

Then it happed one more time and stopped driving. No dash warnings and the engine did not stop. Putting it in drive just feels like it’s in Neutral. However it now makes a squeaky sound which can be heard in the video.

Towed it to the shop and they suspecting it’s a transmission calibration issue however that sound makes me think it’s something more severe than that. What’s the crowd wisdom?

Update:

Putting it in reverse did not work too. When it was towed to the shop it rolled when in park. Park seemed to work on the street before it was towed but I’m not sure since it was on a flat surface then.

Negative. Not even slightly. This is definitely some type of mechanical failure.

We have a bronco in the shop right now that has a similar sound (not anywhere as bad and much more intermittent though) and found a few of the torque converter nuts not tightened.

I would agree with @HeliPilot that it may be a TC failure or possibly sheared the studs off the TC

Edit: I read right past the "really jerky when turning" part. That makes me think it may not be the transmission. But either way, I highly doubt this is a calibration issue lol

A failure of all of this is supposedly the eventual outcome of the transmission-to-transfer case misalignment recall that mine is at the dealer for.

Wouldn’t explain the chirp at idle in park.

The video clip was way too short to offer a conclusion. Don't think it's transmission. Might be a loose flux capacitor. No serious, something is loose. But beets me what.

the video was longer but too big to upload to the forum. The main point was to show the repair shop that there was chirping, no error codes, and it wasn’t driving. I could describe the rest in text form but not the chirping so I cut out just the part where you can clearly hear it. Nothing else in the longer video besides what I described. There were no other physical signs from outside.

Before listening to the video, I was going to say possibly something with the 4A transfer case clutch/actuator, but that sound is metal on metal and more exposed like a converter against the flexplate.

Calibration my ass.
