How Often Are You Guys Actually Hitting the Trails?

Since January 2026, I’ve hit seven trails. Here’s a few photos

In CA, usually go out once or twice per month. Though if it's too hot in the summer, I go less often. For the most part, I only go to the mountains during the summer. Winter is desert season. I go most during spring and fall.

My first 3 years of ownership I must have averaged once or twice a month. Now maybe once a year, priorities shifted a bit. I did move and am only 6hrs from Moab now so I'm going to have to go more often.

One big family trip to Colorado every summer. Sis and her girls. Wheeling, hiking, fishing and horses (for the girls). Pack all of this into one action filled week.

2-3 trail days a month for me, more when it cools off. Mostly weekend day trips, work kills the weekday runs. Texas doesn't have Sedona-tier scenery but there's enough caliche and creek crossings around here to keep the Fox shocks earning their keep.

Almost once a month but only where I need to use at least 4hi at some point.
Otherwise, I don’t count it.

I’m having a problem: often, after working my way up a trail that made me glad I had this Bronco, I’ll get to a parking area or hiking trailhead and parked there will be a few Subarus with a Honda or two and even a KIA or Hyundai thrown in.

I think I need to change 4hi to 4lo as an “off road” effort requirement.
