I haven't had any major issues but so far it's kind of a death by 1000 cuts kind of thing for a first 12 months of ownership. Multiple recalls, CEL's for Cold Start Misfire, driveshaft chirping at low speeds (makes it sound like a 15 year old truck when driving in my neighborhood), binding driveshaft feeling stopping/starting. I feel like these are all very preventable issues yet still exist in new vehicles which is kind of frustrating. Not sure if Ford will ever get their act together.

Yuuuuuuup. Where did they start for you? The usual corners and edges?
Well- I am on my 3rd top and have agreed to pay $1,500 for a 4th- unfortunately. And it will be my last.

Factory Top- Big cracks in the corners of the window on one side. These were big and eventually weeped water when you pressed the sides. This was about 14 months into owning it.

Second Top- Cracked right in the middle of the panel between the drivers back door and the window. About an adult hand size spider web of cracks

Third Top- Same as second top but on the passenger side. This was less than 3 months after installation.

I am now out of warranty and Ford agreed to "pay" for ~$5k of their cost if I would pay for the $1,500.

Besides all the grips already stated about the tech, parking brake, low quality, plastics, etc.… I really hate the transmission being 10 speed. I also hate the fact that it doesn’t have a gated shifter where I can easily lock it into drive 3 or drive four for more torque and hold or auto engine breaking. Oh and I miss my manual four-wheel-drive lever versus the twist goat mode knob. And the plastic pans they use Jesus Christ. That seems durable…

oh, and the 2025 B&O despite what people say absolutely sucks balls. Turn it up and the bass goes away.. rattles straight from the factory.

1.0 That so much of the machine mechanisms are computer controlled; how stable and long-lived is your laptop or desktop?
1.1 All of the “press OK” idiocy. The worst is that it wants me to confirm I know I’m wearing my seatbelt and all is good.
1.2 MIC top worries; no cracks yet, but I’m pretty sure they are coming.
1.3 The ground clearance could be better; all the brackets and whatnot sticking down. Those tend to hit before rails or plates.
1.4 The e-brake and all that has been said about it.
1.5 (Leaving room to edit later 😉
Edit: the 10-speed auto tranny 4L downshift rev that whams the Bronco into whatever is 12 feet ahead! ).

there, ‘got it all within 1 full whine.

This, I assume, will be passed on to Ford.
How about a symmetrical “likes” for our Broncos that should be carried through to the next year models?
Hahaha yeah that is just one headache for sure. Honestly though lol, all very very valid. We're glad to hear you MIC top hasn't cracked yet 🤞.

I'm annoyed that somebody hit me and that I've been without my Bronco for over a month now between insurance BS, parts ordering, body shop crap, etc. probably will be another month too.

But I'm guessing that's out of Exo Shield's wheelhouse.

Haha, we wish that was in our wheelhouse. 😅
Seriously though, that's a rough situation. Hope everything gets sorted out soon and you're back enjoying your Bronco.

I'd like a twin-stick or at least manual lever transfer case. In my 2007 JK, the manual transfer case lever came in clutch during off-road situations or heavy snow storms that made parts of roads off-road. I guess I don't have to worry about the snow storms anymore, but it's much nicer than coming to a complete stop for a few minutes while you fiddle with the Atari 400 membrane buttons and the on-screen display.

I don't like the electric parking brake and the electric controlls for the transfer case. Otherwise I'm happy with it. I expected poor gas mileage when I bought it (laws of physics).
x2!

My second gripe is Bronco owners griping about the Bronco they bought being a Ford Bronco and not a Land Rover or G-wagon.

When I start up the bronco with the doors off, I'm greeted by a thousand beeps and warnings. "door system not connected" "passenger door ajar" I shift into D and i get "transmission not in park" with 10 beeps in a row. Like what? I get a warning for putting the car into Drive??

Then I finish a drive and put the car in park. Take off my seatbelt and I get a seatbelt warning with another 10 beeps. I can't clear it from the gauge cluster either. While sitting motionless in Park... (this one happens with the doors on as well)

There's just so much annoying software BS that I have to sit through/listen to everytime I drive
some of those can be eliminated with forscan, but most importantly (at least on mine, who knows if this things all work the same) BUCKLE THE SEATBELTS before hitting ignition button when you have the doors off.

Yes I'm planning on starting my forscan journey next month...

Good tip! I'll try to keep that in mind

I'd get rid of ALL forum questions regarding Bronco owners waving (or not waving) at other Bronco owners (who cares) ....or any future questions about ducks or "broncs", or strangers touching other people's private Bronco parts! No more, please!

As a Jeep owner as well, the grass is not greener!
Sold my Ram 1500 to buy the Bronco. I've only had it for two weeks, but haven't noticed anything that bugs me as much as the Ram radio.

1. I listen to FLAC files on a USB drive. The Ram would often lose my place on the playlist and start over. This was about 50% of the time. So far the Bronco has been picking up where I left off.

2. On a hot day (around 100*) the USB ports wouldn't always work until the truck cooled down a bit, which often meant no USB music for my short commute home.

Mentioned these two items half a dozen times to service. Each time when picking up the Ram was always disgusted to see 'could not reproduce' on the checklist.

So happy the the Bronco magically remembers what song I was on, if I was on random, etc.

The one headache item I have found: It would be nice if the steering wheel telescoped another 2". It took me a while to find the sweet spot for my seat. At 6' tall, it's still an trade off between enough leg room and being able to reach the steering wheel comfortably.

Only 'head scratching' item (not really a headache) I've seen so far on the Bronco is there's no way to constantly display what gear you're in. Yes, I've seen that you can tap the manual gear selector button. I'd rather have it display on the dash somewhere. My 2018 F150 had that feature.
