Honestly, if you’re not going to do serious off-roading, then the Badlands is probably the last trim you should be looking at.

That was my thinking too because the stock wheels ain't bad looking but I semi-lowballed a seller on Ebay for fun...and they accepted the offer...LOL.That last part is a great suggestion. I‘m picking up the vehicle on Saturday and will wait a bit before jumping into any new wheels as there’s plenty of other stuff I’d like to get for it sooner.
Thank you all for the suggestions.
If you get the 35x13.5r17 version...they are 14.2" wide which is what I am looking to get when new tires are in order!Another option is just get tires that are actually wider. I have a BL Sas and upgraded to Maxxis Rzr M/T's, which are in reality actually 13.2 wide? I get a small, maybe quarter to a half inch, of poke. They are 35x17x12.50. The stock GY's are pretty narrow in practice. I have no rub, stock everything else.
You can also get a small wheel spacer. The wider you go, the more scrub radius, which can wear things out faster, so I'd recommend staying at 0 or positive offset.
Also, the tire selection problem is real. If you like the look of 20's, sure, but be aware 17" with 8.5/9" rim widths gives you the highest number of options by far in 34-37.
Those might rub without changes, so FYI. That's a wide tire.If you get the 35x13.5r17 version...they are 14.2" wide which is what I am looking to get when new tires are in order!
When the tire/wheel sticks out past the fender (or flare). This is a lot (below), mine is "does it really poke?" squint to see it poke. It gives a little bit more of a "bulldog" stance some people like.HELP--what on earth does 'poke' or 'a little poke' mean?
I know, sorry to hijack your thread. I was just reminded of another forum member who also bought a new Badlands with no intention of off-roading and came here asking about aftermarket wheels. He ended up hating the Badlands and traded it within a few months for another Bronco that gave him a better ride, better performance, and better handling on the road. He’s apparently quite happy with that choice. Hopefully you have no regrets and enjoy your Badlands.Appreciate your opinion but that’s not at all what I was asking for.
TYVM; just hadn't seen that term used like that. When the tire/wheel sticks out past the fender (or flare). This is a lot (below), mine is "does it really poke?" squint to see it poke. It gives a little bit more of a "bulldog" stance some people like.

Having read thru all the responses thus far, the above is certainly one of the best.Stock SAS is +33 offset and, with the wider SAS fender flares, supposed to be roughly no poke from the flare (although about 3” from the fender).
0 offset would get you about 1.5” of poke on the same tire (315x70r17). A 35x12.5r17 is nearly the same size but usually just a hair wider than the stock Goodyears
Most folks will strongly recommend a 17” rim in 8.5-9” width for the greater availability of off road tires to fit.
Another way to get poke is to swap for the thinner non-SAS fender flairs - they are about 1.5” narrower
Oh, I got pics for you.Can you share any pics?
There is a Braptor running around over here that I see from time to time that is Barbiefied up almost exactly like this. I can't ever get my camera out fast enough to get a picOh, I got pics for you.
This is the stance you want bro
