Most Bronco storage upgrades begin with the same question:

Where do I put one more thing?

The cargo area is already carrying a cooler, recovery gear, camp chairs, tools, and at least one bag full of cables nobody remembers packing. The door pockets are full. The center console surrendered three trips ago.

Meanwhile, a large section of interior space has been quietly doing almost nothing.

The ceiling.

The new Broaddict Overhead MOLLE Panel System is designed to turn that unused overhead area into a practical storage, lighting, charging, and device-mounting hub for the 2021–2026 Ford Bronco 4-Door.

More Than a MOLLE Panel

At first glance, this looks like an overhead gear panel.

That is accurate—but it is only part of the story.

The full-length MOLLE structure creates dedicated mounting space for smaller equipment that would otherwise be rolling around the cargo area or buried underneath camping gear. Pouches, gloves, radios, first-aid supplies, flashlights, camera accessories, and other frequently used items can stay organized and within reach.

The real value is not simply carrying more stuff.

It is keeping the important stuff from disappearing into the Bronco version of a junk drawer.

More Than Storage: A Reinforced Overhead Structure

One detail worth adding is that this is not simply a MOLLE panel hanging from the roof.

The system uses an integrated structure connected to the Bronco’s B-pillars and roll-bar crossmember, allowing it to serve as both an overhead organization platform and an additional structural support assembly.

According to our product testing, the MOLLE panel is rated to carry up to 55 lbs, while the B-pillar support structure has withstood 220 lbs of pulling force without bending.

Those are two different ratings: the 55-lb figure applies to the panel’s distributed gear load, while the 220-lb figure refers to the strength test of the supporting B-pillar structure.

In other words, it is designed to hold trail gear—not audition as an indoor hammock.

A Better Camp Setup After Dark

Anyone who has unpacked a campsite after sunset knows the routine.

One hand holds a flashlight. The other searches for a headlamp. Someone asks where the charging cable went. The cooler is somehow blocking the exact bag you need.

The Overhead MOLLE Panel System includes a built-in, touch-controlled, dimmable LED strip that provides broad interior lighting for nighttime parking, camp setup, and open-top travel.

Take a Closer Look on Amazon.

Because the light is integrated overhead, it can illuminate the working area more evenly without requiring a separate lantern to hang from a grab handle and swing around every time the wind changes direction.

For camping, that means easier:
  • Gear organization after dark
  • Food and equipment checks
  • Tailgate-area preparation
  • Map reading and trip planning
  • Finding the one black pouch stored among twelve other black pouches
The lighting system is built into the panel rather than added as an afterthought, creating a cleaner roof-mounted utility setup.

Power Where the Gear Actually Lives

Charging devices inside a Bronco can become a cable-management experiment.

Phones, cameras, radios, GPS units, portable lights, and action cameras all seem to need power at the same time.

The system includes integrated USB and USB-C fast-charging ports, allowing compatible devices to charge directly from the overhead utility area.

That placement is particularly useful for equipment mounted near the roof. Instead of running a charging cable from the center console, across the seats, and up toward a camera or radio, the power source stays close to the device.

Fewer loose cables also means fewer opportunities to discover that a charging cord has wrapped itself around a seatbelt, backpack, and passenger in one surprisingly efficient knot.

A Standardized Mounting Ecosystem

The panel is not limited to fabric MOLLE pouches.

The panel combines standard MOLLE slots for pouches and soft gear with slotted expansion points for 1-inch ball mounts, cameras, radios, and other devices.

That turns the roof area into a more flexible equipment platform rather than a single-purpose shelf.

A camping-focused setup might include:
  • A GoPro for trail footage
  • A radio or microphone mount
  • Navigation equipment
  • A rechargeable camp light
  • Small MOLLE storage pouches
  • Frequently used safety equipment
The benefit of a standardized mounting system is that the setup can change with the trip.

A weekend campsite does not need the same equipment as a trail ride, road trip, or overland expedition. The panel gives owners a common structure that can be rearranged instead of requiring a new mounting solution every time the Bronco changes jobs.

No-Drill Installation Without Fighting the Factory Interior

A useful accessory becomes considerably less appealing when installation begins with the phrase, “First, drill several permanent holes into your Bronco.”

The system mounts to existing factory locations. Only the plastic B-pillar trim covers need to be removed, while the structural B-pillar braces remain in place.

The Overhead MOLLE Panel System is custom-fit for the four-door Bronco and uses a no-drill installation design. It is intended to integrate with the factory interior rather than require major structural modification.

That provides several practical benefits:

The factory structure remains intact. Installation feels less intimidating. The finished system looks more integrated instead of resembling a universal panel adapted through determination and an oversized hardware bin.

The panel is also designed with smooth, finished edges to reduce sharp contact points around passengers, bags, and mounted equipment.

Built for Hard Tops, Soft Tops, and Open-Air Days

The system is designed for 2021–2026 Ford Bronco 4-Door hard-top and soft-top models and does not interfere with normal roof removal or daily top operation.

That means owners can keep the overhead organization, lighting, charging, and mounting functions whether the roof is installed or the Bronco is opened up for the weekend.

Headroom Still Matters

Overhead storage only works when it does not turn every passenger into a test subject for helmet clearance.

The structure is designed to use the Bronco’s roof space efficiently while maintaining a comfortable cabin environment. The goal is to add usable mounting space without making the interior feel cramped or positioning the panel where it constantly competes with passengers’ heads.

That balance matters.

A large panel may look impressive in a product photo, but if it makes every rear passenger instinctively duck, the storage problem has simply been replaced with a posture problem.

A Grab Handle When You Need It—More Space When You Don’t

The integrated rear grab handle gives back-seat passengers a secure place to hold during uneven trail driving. It can also be removed when the owner wants additional clearance or plans to expand the setup with other accessories.

That makes the system easier to adapt between daily driving, open-top cruising, camping, and off-road use instead of locking the Bronco into one permanent configuration.

Designed to Stay Quiet

Metal panels and mounted accessories can introduce rattles, vibration, and other unwanted cabin noise—especially on rough roads.

The system’s fixed, high-strength structure is designed for stable gear mounting on uneven terrain, while its NVH-conscious construction helps reduce unnecessary noise and vibration inside the cabin. Broaddict also describes the panel as a rugged system intended to keep mounted equipment stable during demanding trail use.

Proper installation still matters. Mounted accessories should be secured, evenly distributed, and periodically checked.

The goal is overhead organization, not a roof-mounted percussion section.

See It on Amazon.

Built-In Electrical Integration

Combining lighting and charging into one overhead system creates a cleaner installation than adding separate lights, power adapters, and cable mounts one piece at a time.

The electrical layout is designed to provide stable power for the integrated LED and charging ports while keeping the finished setup organized.

This is one of the system’s strongest value points: it does not treat storage, lighting, charging, and device mounting as four unrelated projects.

It brings them together into one roof-mounted utility platform.

Where It Adds the Most Value

The Overhead MOLLE Panel System is likely to be most useful for owners who regularly use their Bronco for:

Camping: Keep lights, charging ports, first-aid supplies, and small camp tools close at hand.
Overlanding: Build a consistent mounting location for communications, navigation, cameras, and frequently used gear.
Trail driving: Secure smaller equipment so it does not move around the cabin when the road becomes less road-like.
Open-top travel: Maintain organized device mounting and overhead utility functions when the Bronco is configured for open-air driving.
Daily use: Store smaller items above the cargo area instead of sacrificing more floor space.

It does not make the Bronco physically larger.

It simply asks the existing interior to work a little harder.

A Practical Note About Overhead Storage

An overhead panel is best used for appropriately sized equipment, pouches, electronics, and frequently accessed accessories.

Heavy or poorly secured objects should not be mounted above passengers. Owners should follow the product’s installation guidance, distribute loads carefully, check fasteners periodically, and use secondary retention where appropriate.

A flashlight overhead is useful.

A loose toolbox overhead is a physics lesson nobody needs.

The Bigger Idea

The most interesting part of this system is not any single feature.

It is the combination:

MOLLE organization.
Dimmable overhead lighting.
USB and USB-C charging.
Ball-mount device support.
No-drill Bronco-specific installation.

Together, they turn previously unused roof space into a standardized utility zone.

For owners who camp, travel, film trail runs, carry communications equipment, or simply want fewer loose items in the cabin, that can make the Bronco feel more organized without filling another section of the cargo floor.

Sometimes the answer to limited storage is not a bigger box.

Sometimes it is finally using the space that has been above you the entire time.

What Would You Mount First?

How would you use an overhead MOLLE system in your Bronco?

Would your first addition be a GoPro, radio, first-aid pouch, camp lighting, charging station, or something nobody else has thought of yet?

Share your setup ideas, practical questions, or current interior-storage solutions in the comments. We are especially curious to hear what equipment Bronco owners want within arm’s reach—and what gear should remain safely below head level.

A shotgun.

I take it this is for station wagons only?
Noted 😄

This first version is designed specifically for the 2021–2026 Bronco 4-Door, so yes—the “station wagon” crowd gets this one first. The 2-door roof layout and mounting points are different, so this system won’t be a direct fit.

For safety, we recommend using the panel for securely mounted lightweight gear such as radios, cameras, MOLLE pouches, lights, and charging equipment—not heavy or loose items overhead.

Two-door owners haven’t been forgotten, though. We’re paying attention to the interest.

Adding the USB ports is genius and something no other product has. How do they connect to power?

Also interested in how the power is routed, also interested in if this will fit a Raptor, I assume the B pillar brace would be removed for this to mount in its place. Does this work with both hard and soft tops?

Have some interest in this. Just need to see more pictures and verify no interference with hard/soft top removal. As others said- Need to see wiring plan/connection points for lighting/usb ports.

Interesting. This is an upgrade to the DV8 overhead MOLLE panel. The USB is a nice touch; I, too, wonder how it would be routed.
The overhead grab bar is one of my favorite things about the DV8 unit. It is good to see another company incorporate it into their design. I would guess it would fit in the same way as my current bar does, but I wonder if having the Armadillo top would make this installation a bit cumbersome.

I keep several things on my current setup. Molle bag, my radio, and a few other off-road items. I also just noticed it would have a light. Another nice touch.

Interested to see how this goes.

I'll take one lol, also, wish you guys make the rear lower molle panels for 4 door rear soft top. I have the upper ones for the rear windows, but the other lower molle panels wont fit with my soft top.

Can you just buy the B-brace separately? Some may just want that brace and not the middle molle piece that connects to the front.

I agree this looks nice. Had I kept the Bronco my plan was to install the TOR b-pillar brace (to quiet down the creakyness of the hardtop) and the molle panel was a bonus.

Boo for no 2 door version.. yet ;)

Suggestion 1: The USB power is great, but you should also provide 12V power connection. These things are a good place to mount radios and other 12V equipment. If you're already wiring up the USB, might as well provide the 12V.

Suggestion 2: For the 2 door, gotta make sure your product is compatible with the BestTop soft top (which Ford resells as the OE softop for the 2 door).

What's the rated weight capacity?

My Beretta 1301 weighs about 6.5lbs.
