I would cross tighten torque to 15 with blue or red loctite it'll be fine.

Blue Loctite not required nor advised, red absolutely foolish/absurd.

It seems abundantly clear you @23OBX2.7 have zero experience with red Loctite.

PSA: Just got a replacement in the mail as mine was cracking (powder coat) and rusting bad. Don't waste your time installing without having someone else strip and powder coat first.

Just got my shipped email. Ill be the test mule and see if they fixed it.

I posted several months ago about mine after 2 years was baaad. I contacted back then and they just sent me the replacement yesterday. Now looking at the last few post I’m scared to put it on. I guess I’m going to look around locally to find someone who will redo it in a black. I’m scared it will do the same thing again. A couple of my bolts are missing so I bought more bolts the same as before and I guess I’ll tighten a little more.

Use it all the time no issues just use 1/4 of what you'd use of the blue. These are agrarian grade machines not new Ferraris LOL that would also.accept a touch of red

Perfect, use the wrong product for the application (red is for semi permanent, very high strength locking) and then use the wrong amount of it (contrary to manufacturers recommendations) on top of it. All for an application where no thread locker is recommended in the first place.

Whether this is something you do on diff covers "all the time" isn't really relevant.

Mine came in the mail today. I dont see any premature cracking. Only scratches from rough shipment.

You do you...

You do realize that pretty well all common "single use" bolts in our rigs are absolutely not really single use? It's Fords way of being conservative with bad mechanics and also making more money. Things like head and rod bolts and other TTY bolts are single use.
