Won’t go up ramps and now trailer brake system fault

Attempting to change the oil again. Four ramps on the ground, vehicle in 1st gear. The vehicle barely made it up the first foot up the ramp and died (E-brake was not on). Trailer Brake System fault displayed on the dash. And it seemed like the rear brakes engaged and have not dis-engaged. Multiple attempts to get up these ramps and it was not doing it.

We have disconnected the battery but it still seems as if the rear brakes are engaged as the tires are chattering/skipping. No warnings on the dash.

I had the brakes lock up in an off road situation a few years back, after about 10 minutes of various tries they released, hopefully yours will too. As far as the ramps, why 4? Anyway, try 4L it'll help climb that hill and disengage traction control which may be the problem.

Sounds like parking brakes may be stuck - may be worth jacking up each corner one at a time and checking for free wheel spin (in 2H or it gets difficult)
