“A 2023 Bronco, which Miller was driving, crossed the center line on Route 96 and collided with a semi-truck.”
Not sure why you quoted the quote I made from the post lol, am I missing something? He was driving the Bronco and caused the accident by crossing the center line. Reason for crossing the line is currently unknown (to us at least).

article doesn’t say what caused accident. Lots of potential causes. Too bad.
It states he crossed the line and drove into the semi.

Drew is saying we don't know what caused him to cross the line, could've been anything from being on his phone to a mechanical failure or blown tire. Nobody knows yet.

Exactly. Would hesitate to blame him without facts.
Let's clarify - he is the at-fault party. Whether it was his actions or a mechanical failure is unclear, but it's unlikely that it's a mechanical failure and statistically far more likely to be user error.

he's very fortunate to be alive.

While we don't know what caused him to leave his lane, and I'm not speculating that this is why he did, PUT DOWN YOUR PHONES..... there's nothing important enough on Facebook or TikTok or a text to potentially kill yourself or someone else over.

Locally, we just had a woman who was finally arrested after her 4th serious accident caused by her just hitting things she didn't see.
She's killed a pedestrian in a cross walk.
She killed an Amish man on a buggy she hit.
She hit a John Deere tractor from behind with hazards on that was traveling between fields hard enough to snap the frame in half
She now hit ANOTHER Amish buggy & sent two kids to the trauma center via medivac.

Local DA finally charged her with felony aggravated assault by vehicle & made one of her bail conditions the loss of her driving license.

Also - some of that damage was likely from first responders extracting him. Looks like they cut the A-pillar & B-Pillar to get him out of the vehicle.

Back in th' day (pre-mobile phone), there were a few causes of driving poorly:

- Drinking: "What're you DRUNK!?!"
- Women: "Must be a woman" (men, amiright?)
- Obscured vision: "What've you got your head up your ass!?!"
- Radio: "TURN OFF THE RADIO!!!"
- Gluttony: "Put down the burger, dude!!!"

Now, it's always, invariably, almost never fails, someone with one (or more!!) cell phones and/or tablets slathered in eye glue. Occasionally there be a laptop. I never guess anything else, though: "Get off yer damn phone, ya jackass!!" (Looks in the car as we pass wide.) "Dude, get off the phone, man!!" It's a real epidemic of dumbassery. Wait, hold on, lemme pull up this band real quick. Whoops!! Sorry!

Well, I hope he can recover to the fullest. May have to look into his analysis over at ESPN as he did a great job picking a vehicle.

Sounds like lane assist could've prevented this. Being a Monday morning QB and not knowing all the facts, that is.

The first was like 24 years ago I think. then the 2nd was like 2018? then 2022 & now this year.
But yeah, our local judge is 100% useless. They give everyone probation for everything.

I'm emphasizing that it wasn't the fault of the semi.
