Had less than 7K miles on the odometer and was bought to replace the Wildtrak that was totaled.

Quick process by State Farm as Wildtak was wrecked on the 3rd of June and I was able to buy this yesterday the 13th.

I am really happy you were able to work out that deal.... I really really think you will be happy with this one. I am with mine. It comes with just about every single option you could get on a 2 door at that time, and the aesthetics offered no where else. AND the peak Blue is the rarest.

Anyone have production numbers on these beauties?
I have guesses.... Start with 1966 made (at least that is what was advertised)... More than half were REB, so lets say about 1000... then came the YY color probably about 600.... so maybe around 350???

Just tried and unless there is some secret trick to it, I can't get the gunners hatch out due to the roof rack

I DEFINITELY preferred the look of this over the Stroppe but was wanting the HOSS 3.0 and digital cluster so was tempted. I could have got the 25 Stroppe for just $4K above the cost of the HEL.

When I get the settlement check I'm going to add the HOSS 3.0 Fox shocks and am just going to live with the shitty cluster.

Welcome to the heritage limited club, the best all around 2 door package Ford made IMO. I saw the listing for your blue one, looks great! Love the tan interior with heated plaid leather seats and steering wheel

I don’t have a roof rack to know, but can you lift the gunner hatch just enough to rotate and bring it through inside?

Congrats, you found a unicorn. I had a chance to buy one of those new at the dealer in Orange, CA but they wanted $71K + tax and license. They knew what they had...
What I can't figure is why would Ford discontinue what is clearly the best paint color they ever put on a Bronco?

It takes a fair amount of careful maneuvering just to get the two front panels out from under the roof racks on these 2-doors!

Un latch it... push up a couple of inches and turn it 90 degrees.... It pops right out... Just takes a little finagling. If I remember correctly I think I had to cheat it forward a little bit before turning it so that I missed the rear mounts for the rack.

Once you have it turned 90 degrees it will tilt down into the cabin (from the rearward side) and you can drop it right into the back of the cabin.
