That sounds like a great discount on a Stroppe if new, but check and see if the warrantee has been “Punched” (started). Also look at the carfax. Even if new, it can show some interesting history like service or if it’s been traded around to different dealers or even auctioned.

A good upholstery shop can replace the worn section for $100-150, at least that’s the CA rate. Add $25-50 if the foam needs to be rebuilt.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve heard bad diff noises, this is more of a chirp/squeak. Pitch remains the same even when speed frequency changes. Sounds like the Jetsons hover car going down the road, I’m waiting for the theme song to Que up saying meet George Jetson lol

The last 3 vehicles I’ve purchased were shipped in from out of state, enclosed trailers and no problems. Especially if the dealer sets up the shipper you should be fine, and I agree not wanting to drive it on salty roads. Love the stripes! Happy trails and post pics
