Anyone see this one yet? Stumbled across it on my Broncoās carfax of all places. Having had the transmission and or transfer case repaired or replaced, in my case due to chasing a drivetrain noise, triggered the recall of 5000 broncos from 2021-2025
That sounds like a great discount on a Stroppe if new, but check and see if the warrantee has been āPunchedā (started). Also look at the carfax. Even if new, it can show some interesting history like service or if itās been traded around to different dealers or even auctioned.
Could plasti dip be used for the fender flares also? Not a 6g heritage color, but my ā73 back in the day had white flares that matched the top and grille
Wanted to update and share the outcome on this noise in case anyone else gets it
I found an old thread on here from 2021-22 about drivetrain noise which matched mine exact, and concluded itās the front driveshaft CV joint at the transfer case. Exhaust crossover pipe just below joint heats up...
Does TPMS trip after 20 minutes only if system is playing music or all the time?
Does TPMS message go away if you shut down and restart vehicle?
TPMS system is an RF transmitter (sensor in the wheel) and a receiver on the chassis (body control module). Somehow that speaker is tripping the...
Thanks for the reply. Iāve heard bad diff noises, this is more of a chirp/squeak. Pitch remains the same even when speed frequency changes.
Sounds like the Jetsons hover car going down the road, Iām waiting for the theme song to Que up saying meet George Jetson lol
Only happens at low speed (10-20 mph) after 20-30 miles of freeway driving, quiet when cold. Chirping noise that changes with ground speed, but too fast to be tire speed. Iām thinking driveshaft speed related. U joint, driveshaft, input or output bearing on diff or transfer case? Dealer...
The last 3 vehicles Iāve purchased were shipped in from out of state, enclosed trailers and no problems. Especially if the dealer sets up the shipper you should be fine, and I agree not wanting to drive it on salty roads. Love the stripes! Happy trails and post pics
I just put powerstop pads on a couple other vehicles, mainly for low dust but they also stop really nice.
Has anyone put powerstop on their Bronco yet and compared stopping distance to stock pads? The rotors canāt be seen through my wheels so the looks donāt matter, and stock pads arenāt...
My 2024 heritage LE 2 door mod top, with job 1 removable side windows, leaked once after going though standing water at about 20 mph. Drivers side rear window glass showed water drops at the window top afterwards, and the body tub ledge had some water on it. Pass side just had a couple drops...
Asides from the regular comments/compliments, Iāve had people think itās a Gen 1 (mines a Yellowstone 2 door heritage limited ) which I think is pretty cool
Also people not aware ford even makes a 2 door, which they think looks much more like Gen 1
Also had a young lady and work fascinated by...
I saw this last year at the local ford dealer parts dept. Looked cute and I thought about getting it, but the size was 4XL! Coulda used it as a seat cover or two I guessā¦
Iāve always thought ford should have done something more retro for the Bronco letters on the dash in the heritage edition. Like many here I love the vintage script logo, so decided to add one inside. Had to figure out how to cover the original letters, so made a heritage limited plaque with a...
Chatterbot to the rescue!
Those are active grille shutters.
Theyāre motorized flaps in front of the radiator that open and close automatically, and their purpose is mainly:
1. Aerodynamics & Fuel Efficiency ā When the engine doesnāt need maximum cooling (like at highway cruise), the shutters...
