I'm finding the light/dark sensor is erratic. During the day, I get the dark screen. and have to go into settings to make it light. Not sure if the reverse is true yet (getting light screen at night). Could this be related to the blank screen recall?

No. The sunload sensor is unrelated to this recall.

There’s different settings you can select for the timeframe of when it will switch. Sound be in the lighting section of the infotainment settings.

I’ve gotten this glitch a fair amount too.

Mostly Light at Night. But there has been Dark in the Day time, which isn’t as bad.

Also where CarPlay boots into full screen mode, but the right third is overlayed with the OEM panel, or it’s blanked out. A minimize and full screen cycle solves it for a while

Those of you with the light sensor issue; do you have anything nearby on the dash that could be affecting the amount of light getting to the sensor in certain situations? That seems to me a possibility. Of course, it could also be a bad sensor or a software issue. I've had quite a few Fords and Lincolns with the same setup and never experienced a problem.

Mine flips day/night depending on how my vehicle is pointed. This is due to the heavy tint on the windows.

I'm experiencing several random issues since the update. Biggest one is I can no longer rotate the goat mode dial from Normal to Baja mode? when I turn the dial at normal speed, it just stays in Normal, if I spin the dial super fast, it will jump past Baja and go into Rock Crawl. Then once in Rock Crawl, I can turn it back one more (which is Baja) and it will go into Baja with all the correct driveline settings. Now that it is in Baja (the hard way) when I try to go one more turn on back to normal mode, I get the same error message saying mode not available (yes Normal) but is puts in in normal mode anyway. All very strange. I'll try and post video for better clarification.
Next, I too am having the light sensor issue. Lastly, Auto Unlock when shutting car off is set to off but when I got to office today, all doors unlocked when I shut the Raptor off? strange. So far, wishing I did not get this update. I since have turned off auto update as I was having Zero issues prior.
