My FIL had an F250 in AMB.

He hated it.

Not because he didn't like the color - he actually liked it a lot.

But we nicknamed it 'The Fickle B!tch'

People kept trying to tell him it was black...and he would politely say 'thanks, but it's blue.'

People would get MAD at him for correcting them about HIS OWN TRUCK.

I know his pain. LOL

A certain gas station chain in this area has EXCELLENT canopy lighting at night.
The first couple years I had owned it, I looked like a nut-case every time I filled up there at night .... walking around the Bronco getting pics from various angles, hold the camera up high over head ... kneeling down low ....

Getting excited for the new Neptune Blue Ford was showing off on the 2027 F250.

There are very few that you can get an idea on production numbers.
Around 1966 Heritage Limited 2 doors.
Around 1966 Heritage Limited 4 doors.
Fewer 25 Stroppe 2 doors than that.
Around 7k first editions.
Fewer than 300 24 2 door Heritage Editions.

Last count I saw was over 10K. You have a very unique and special Bronco that will be worth millions in 100 years.

Getting excited for the new Neptune Blue Ford was showing off on the 2027 F250.

The thing is, it was a GORGEOUS color, and when the light hit it right you could really tell it was a VERY deep blue.

But it just amazed me how many people got angry that he corrected them...when the proper response is 'really? doesn't look like it but okay' over something that doesn't affect them in any way.

Some people want a rare vehicle. And want to know how rare theirs is.

Our Bronco isn't that rare - there was an identical one sitting on the same lot just a different color. In '24 I could find dozens of them within 100 miles.

My wife's expedition I could find a hundred of them within 100 miles, but only one black one for some reason.

My truck, despite being a pretty common SuperDuty, must be pretty rare though...I had to order it, because within 500 miles I couldn't find a Lariat Tremor diesel that had the BAP but NOT the Ultimate package, of any color.

But I don't care enough to find out how many like it were built. I'm just happy with mine.

I know mine is not rare color wise, was hoping eruption green would not be super popular when I ordered it lol. But a 2 door non sas black diamond with manual and the advanced transfer case I bet not a ton were specked that way.

There were some limited and peculiar options available in the early builds. 4A without Sasquatch is a nice perk. Had the same on my Black Diamond.

I didn’t care that much about the 4A part, just wanted the 94:1 gear reduction in 4L and crawler gear. Will idle up a building at .5 mph.

If you look closely in this pic, you can see the reflection of my wife telling me to stop spending so much time talking pictures of my Bronco.
