I was driving at 60mph and just lost acceleration. I pulled over and the truck just shut off. Anyone have a similar experience

Had a similar experience with my low pressure fuel pump failure. It did not shut off the ignition, but the engine was fuel starved and quit running pretty quickly when cruising along at about 45 mph. Wouldn't restart, though it did try and sputter a few times.

Edit: I'm not 100% sure since this was a while ago, but I believe this was the list of codes I picked up when that happened:

P008A
P00C6
P0301
P008A(00)
P00C6(00)
P0301(00)

Yes, when the original fuel pump went bad and left me stranded in the desert.

I was guessing the fuel pump since the symptoms seem to point directly to it. I wasn’t sure if other people were experiencing it as well.. for those that had this problem, did Ford just simply replace the fuel pump?

Yeah, well it’s closer to a truck than a car but I get it. It’s a 2022 67,000 miles. nothing electrical, there’s an amp in the car, but it’s disconnected. The battery still works, all of the accessories are fine and when you push the button it tries to start

My situation was a bit of a cluster, but after I got the truck home (it's body on frame with at least one solid axle, so it's a truck IMHO), I used the Ford app to get it towed to a dealer for repairs. I have to say that I was impressed with how well that worked. With all their issues, Ford seems to have honed their road side assistance to a fine edge. They had a tow truck to my house in less than an hour. It was at the dealer, diagnosis performed, parts ordered, parts delivered, installed and back to me very first thing in the morning of the 4th day. If you are under the recall, Ford should cover the cost on all of it, even the tow.

@Ducati1098 said Ford is hoping to release the LPFP recall fix in June, the 22nd I think he said.

Well it certainly is not a car!
It's not a car, nor truck ( open bed), nor current definition SUV (transverse engine no low range, unibody) It's a Bronco, like a Jeep is a Jeep.
