I am pretty sure I read somewhere about a way to leave the transmission in neutral with the engine off without the chime sounding for long time. I don't remember where I saw it or the instructions.
I have a lift and like to leave the transmission in neutral so I can push my Bronco back and forth to get the lift line up properly. I don't like having to listen to the chime for a long time. It does eventually stop but if I open a door it starts all over again.
Does anyone know of a way to deactivate the chime when left in neutral with the engine off?
