Thankfully the 2.3L is DI, so not much of a worry. I've never experienced rev hang in mine, not that it's set up for super fast shifts anyways.

This guy makes physics, engineering, and chemistry, very easy to understand. Impressed. As for mine, I never notice this "rev hang". It shifts as nice as I want it to, or not. And I am sooooo happy I got a stick - this Bronco wouldn't be half the fun it is with an auto. Just saying.

For a second I thought this was explaining the issue some of us are having with the random fuel/air on cold start. Love this guy's videos. This was a good watch. Thanks for sharing.

As for making a choice...after extensively driving both an OBX non-Sas and a Big Bend Sas in 2.7L Auto....no thanks. I'm much happier in the seat of my 2.3L Manual Black Diamond.

@Lakelife36
Good point about the DI. I didn’t know how much difference that would make.

For those with manual transmission, or considering buying one, you might want to watch this fascinating video.

This guy dies such good explanation videos.....even if I don't understand them.

agreed….If there was no manual offering, I wouldn‘t have a Bronco.
