Because we all know the ultra rich like sitting at a camp fire with bugs. People will just think someone got their family name imprinted on the tire cover and a mint paint job.

People know Eddie Bauer, Carhart(Super Duty partnership), King Ranch, etc. Is this just an interior dress-up package with diamond stitching like a Hyundai Palisade?

Burlap sacks at the feed mill and some inventive cutting and stitching can give you that "rugged outdoor feel" seat treatment...
Maybe it will be flannel pattern, plaid, or houndstooth cloth inserts?
(Joking, this whole post is meant to be one).

Hey Ford... Instead of spending time creating endless “special editions,” maybe focus on building more reliable, bulletproof components.

That would probably create more real brand loyalty than manufacturing Instagram bait.

Speaking of which, I’m actually grown more fond of the blue “plaid” pattern seat in my heritage, I think it’s tasteful without insisting on itself

Ah, this is true.
I completely forgot about the heritage seating.
I have seen it at a meetup and thought they did a good job with it, to be fair and honest.
They did a lot of things right on the Heritage 2 drs. Could have done a bit better in some areas but in person they are a good looking factory rig.
The one I saw the guy took a LOT of pride in keeping his clean and nice. I'm not sure I've seen a cleaner and better-kept interior on any vehicle.

There was a white Bronco leaked awhile back that claimed to be a possible premium version... 🤔

It had a different grill and some other "premium" nonsense that, really, can't make a Bronco all that premium anyway. I mean, if you want premium (or the best), the Raptor is already out there.

Everything else is just smoke and mirrors (or the lipstick on a pig as someone else said) which we can all do our own way.

My example of my "premium" Bronco:

Exactly. Call me jaded, but the trend seems to be call something a special edition to cause FOMO and have people basically just buy an overpriced appearance package with maybe some relatively inconsequentially upgraded thing.
Coming from a Ford Explorer Sport and Audi and going to be buying a Bronco soon to get back into an SUV, Ford has a lot of room to upscale the Bronco, especially in interior components/material quality. If this edition brings that, that will be a nice 'upgrade' for the Bronco. The Audi materials are absurdly in a different ballpark than most American brands that the interiors in Fords feel cheap.

Again for the life of me, I don't understand why they don't offer a fixed roof model OR offer a complete 1/2 piece roof option with sunroof. That would be another upscale addition.

... and do the Hennessey 400 & 500 versions slit in at $$$, or $$$$$? 🤔
I’d say $$$$$. Hennessey is a very niche performance brand, more like a Shelby or RTR (brand-wise). Filson is just a lifestyle co-brand, but at least it’s an actual premium, heritage outfit that makes quality (expensive!) stuff. I won’t be interested in buying one, but I can understand why the association makes sense for both companies. It’s Ford trying communicate that they’re upscale and can hang with the single malt crowd, while leaving Jeep to the Monster energy drink crew.

True ... stop doing to the Bronco what you did to the Mustang, Ford. It's confusing and unnecessary.

This announcing you're going to be announcing something marketing crap has become old.

Tell me when you actually have something.

Filson is a shell of it's old self. It's now owned by a private equity firm that's moved most production and material supply overseas. They are just a 'lifestyle' brand now catering to those who like the look, but would never actually use the gear as it was intended. Fitment is all over the place and the materials get thinner and thinner. I bought a new Mackinaw wool jacket a couple years ago. The stitching was shotty, one sleeve was slightly shorter than the other, the material was much thinner and lower quality than my older one and it fit like a tent.

If that's what they are going to be providing to Ferd, then no thanks. Although, this likely makes them perfect partners.

I did buy a duffle bag on clearance a few months ago that was decent enough, but I'd never pay full price for it.

That’s too bad. I have an old Makinaw jacket that I’ll say is quality, but it’s probably 20 years old.

Perhaps you need to get your arm length checked out, one is longer than the other?
