AEV had a Filson edition Wrangler a while back. I remember it being a nice green color.
Also had a special interior. I don't think I'd be interested in the Filson edition but would definitely consider a Bronco in this color.
I had this exact tire on my Wrangler. I liked the ride but they looked smaller than expected. When it was time to replace them I went with a 285/70R17 in a different brand and the new tires looked bigger to me, which might be normal due to wear on the KO2.
Toyo Open Country AT3 in 285/75R17 is spec'd at 59 lbs. It's going to be quite a bit heavier that what you're running now. I do not have this tire but C load range so should be a decent ride.
So I've been looking at a couple options that come close to your requirements (not sure about price though):
Black Rhino Etosha 17x8.5 +20 (24.6 lbs)
Method MR316 17x8 +25 (~25 lbs)
I also like the look of the RRW wheels but they only seem to have black/bronze. SCS makes some really light...
I've owned both 2-door (BL non-SAS) and 4 door (BL SAS). My experience:
2-door was more fun to drive. Could be due to less wheel/tire weight on the non-SAS.
4-door hauls more so less trips to storage unit. FYI no room to store a trailer.
I thought it was easy to get in and out of the back...
Made of aluminum so pretty expensive but do hang down low if you add the drop steps:
LoD Armor Lite
There is also a smaller drop step option, and they are removable without tools. FYI, I do not know anyone who has installed these...
Would you be willing to ship/sell the beauty rings separately? I have the regular SAS wheels but assume these would fit.
EDIT: sorry nevermind. The styles are different enough that I don't think they really match.
@Protomeister Based on what you are trying to achieve for your Bronco I totally agree.
The standard Outer Banks setup + Painted Hardtop + Aftermarket Black Wheels would probably have gotten most of what you wanted.
Agree this is what should happen. But there may be some paperwork that needs to be filled out by the dealership for the transfer. I once bought a demo F-250 with 6000 miles on it, and when I tried to get warranty work done at ~38k miles it was denied for being beyond the 3/36k plan. This was...
I also have the Raptor steps option on a Badlands. Installed the IAG flaps, not the new adjustable ones.
You can see in the pic they butt right up to the flaps, but hasn't been a problem. The flaps also came with sticky back felt material that can be cut out and attached to the end of the...
I bought a Bronco what was supposed have floor liners according to the window sticker. I noticed they weren't actually installed, and told the salesman. He said that it was common they would get swapped from other vehicles on the lot, and went back to parts to get new ones for me.
He must...
2024 Badlands (SAS) with Raptor style boards... To me the Raptor rails look a little chunkier than the regular rock rails but can't confirm.
I'm sure someone else will have a better answer for you, but here are a couple pics. I did add the IAG mud flaps to mine.
Hi All, I recently bought a new Badlands. It has the painted hard top. Reading many posts on here convinced me that was the way to go.
I traded a 2-door Badlands (Area 51) for this one. I will say the 2-door was a bit more fun to drive but the 4-door fits my needs better right now.
