How far did you travel to pick up your Bronco ?

I drove about 9 miles to get my Bronco Badlands in 2021. For my 2023 Bronco Raptor I flew up to Michigan Assembly Plant from Florida, about 1,350 miles so I could watch it get built and then took delivery at the end of the line.

My reservation was still not scheduled in January 23. I recieved the dreaded "if you're not scheduled this year, you're out of luck" email from Ford. I found a 22 Wikdtrak in Detroit for a decent price. I got off work at 6 am. I left southern IN at 6:30 am and made it to the dealer at 5:30 pm after a couple stops.
A week later Ford sent me an email that I was scheduled on my original order.

28 miles one way. Been going to this dealership since my first order: 1985 Bronco II. And I had known the service manager since the late '70s.

Flew from Nashville to Philly and purchased from Chapman Ford of Horsham PA. They sent a Lift for me at the airport. Signed the paperwork and drove 1,000 miles back to Kentucky.

I live 2 miles from this dealer, and went 60 miles round trip to get mine ordered… LOL

Feb 17 2022: Flew to Iowa from SF, Picked it up from Granger the next day, drove to Denver through a blizzard. Next day drove to SFO pick my GF up and proceeded to go to Tahoe/Truckee area the same night. It was my birthday weekend I like driving and I'm an idiot.

Literally 5 minutes away, and that was a key element to why I bought one. I wanted a car brand that can be easily serviced if needed no matter where I am. If I'm in the countryside of eastern NC and have a problem - dealers everywhere. Or, at home here in the DC region - dealers everywhere.

My previous cars (MB), all about a 30 minute drive, and in DC, that can easily become one annoying trip. Or when in NC - it's basically Raleigh.

Great choice.

300 miles. Rented a car and drove to Granger to pick up my 23 Heritage Edition that was the final model ordered after reserving a BaseSquatch in October 2020 during the Grangtober 2k below invoice deal.
