How far did you travel to pick up your Bronco ?

Just thought about this and thought it would be nice to hear from other bronco members how far y'all went , As for me I did a 62 mile trip to and fro to pick up mine.

My story's boring...local Ford Dealer...24-miles round trip.

Flew from Nashville to Philly and purchased from Chapman Ford of Horsham PA. They sent a Lift for me at the airport. Signed the paperwork and drove 1,000 miles back to Kentucky.

My first Bronco (MY'22 Black Diamond) was purchased in Livonia, MI (IYKYK). Flew up from Jacksonville, FL and drove first to Red River Gorge and then the Smokies coordinated with Super Celebration East and then back to the Ancient City.

My 2nd Bronco(MY'23 OBX) purchased from Granger, but it was delivered to my driveway.

116 miles each way. My cousin is good friends with the Dealership GM a few hours away so he hooked me up with the guy. We handled all of the details via text/phone and email. Ended up with a killer lease deal on my Wildtrak. Drove down, was there for about 90 minutes, mostly talking to the guy and his team, having a coffee, etc. Signed a few papers and went on my way.

Took a flight to Granger Ford in Iowa. Drove back to Kentucky, 697 Miles.

Then drove from Kentucky to Armadillo Designs (Texas) to have the new top installed: 1035 Miles one way.

Granger, IA to Salt Lake City. We made a road trip of the drive home: 5 days, 4 people in a 2-door, and we all managed fine. I spent time in the back to see what it would be like and was surprised there is decent room. Of course, we had to stop at Badlands NP since that is our model (and Mt. Rushmore and other places). I think a road trip is a great way to bring a Bronco home. About 1,300 miles.

This for me as well. I knew I wanted a 2 door bronco with a manual, and as few other features as I could get to keep the payment low. I went to the dealer around here I like and picked this one. Ended up with a few more features than I wanted, but that was the price of Azure Grey vs Shadow Black.

I went two miles to pick mine up, that I had ordered a full year before it showed up. This is it before I took possession of it, next to one of my other red Fords.

now it is her Bronco.
