Did you ever find a cover?I use an AGS off-road mount to put my camera in the spare. Very clean install but I still need to figure out a cover to keep the rain and water off. Bronco needs a bath but here are some pictures and a link to the mount.

I am not sure what you mean.... Why is it not an option? The profile of the wheels???? We are talking about mounting the rear camera, correct? I am not sure what "Wheel Profile" has to do with ANY of these mounts people have come up with. I have a Heritage. I do not run with a spare but.... which of these MANY different rear camera mounts has a problem with the "wheel profile"? There has to be something here you are referring to I just do not know what it is....all these inside spare option looks good but unfortunately not viable to the Heritage folks given the profile of the wheels![]()
oh i already got it, sorry for not being clear but i meant the narrow slot of the heritage wheel doesn't look like it would allow the mounts that reside the camera inside the slots of the spares, the options where it sits outside are plenty and i am aware they would be applicable.I am not sure what you mean.... For example ForeWard's mount (post 110 above) would work just fine with my "heritage" wheels....
There are several that mount the camera so that it is viewing through the "slot" in the wheel. Those look to be infinitely adjustable so you could place the camera looking through the "slot" in the heritage wheel....
I am not trying to convince you to get a rear camera.... I just don't want you thinking there are no mounts that work when they should work just fine.
I did that originally but it was so bouncy/shaky I ended up moving it to the cross bar on my Barricade roof rack.On top of the Turn Off Road chase light assembly.
No shake issues with mine. But I have the spare good and snug against the light assembly.I did that originally but it was so bouncy/shaky I ended up moving it to the cross bar on my Barricade roof rack.
