All,

I’ve been lurking around the site for some time now and I’m currently in negotiations with a dealer on a leftover ā€˜25 4Dr Bronco Badlands Sasquatch. It’s fairly loaded with a MSRP of ~$70k. Dealer is ā€œall-inā€ at 9k off. Does this seem reasonable, I’ve seen better deals on the site, but they appear to outliers. Appreciate any input. Thanks in advance.

Does this happen to be a 7MT matte green badsas located at Summit Ford of Sumner? If so that’s my twin.. I canceled with them because they were trying to pull some shady BS on me. Went to Auburn and ordered the EXACT same build. Sumner has been sitting on it since July with almost no one interested in it. If this is the one you’re looking at PLAY HARDBALL you will get a great deal because they know they can’t move it. 2.3L for near raptor money takes a special type of motivated buyer.

if you get it, twinsy trail runs! Lol

Looks like you have a loaded Badlands, can't get much better than that. Looks like a fair deal to me. The real question is "is it what you want?" If it's what you want buy it. There is no comparison between a 4dr with a V6 to a 2dr with the 2.3...of course the 2dr is a lot cheaper.

Appreciate the feedback. Agree that the two can’t really be compared.

Not to take this discussion off course, but from what I gather, the 2.7 is pretty bulletproof, correct? Also, have the ten speeds shown many issues?

Well the 2.7 has been all over the Ford lineup for years (Edge, Lincoln, Mustang, F-150...). Ford keeps tweeking it to make it better and the Bronco has the latest version. This is my 3rd vehicle with the 2.7 and I've enjoyed them all. I don't know alot about transmission issues, but I've had none so far. You have to remember that people come on these forums to look up or report that something is wrong. The vast majority of buyers have no issues and don't feel the need to report that they've had no issues.

I got my 25 almost exactly the same layout, (no mod number or engine heater) this time last year for 61. I feel you can do a touch better. With gas prices as they are, don't have to be a car person to realize that filling the tank isn't fun right now. Maybe but more off or wait until gas prices start to drop.

That’s impressive.

I just got word, they’ll do $10k off, so $59,xxx + tax etc

I'd definitely take that deal, 25 does seem to be last year for some very minor, but IMO nice touches (garage door buttons on drivers visor), and the new grab handles aren't a big deal to me.

Make them sweat, if they are telling you no one else is interested it is on them to give you a deal so good you can't refuse, practice walking away, not picking up their calls right away, tell them you have other leads on better listings, etc.

That deal is average. I got my '24 in January '25 for that much off, they got to give you better incentives then that. "Days on lots" works against them and I am sure a sales manager will get wise to it and call you wanting to move it. Big dealers try to hold on MSRP, but managers want volume and can pull things the sales boys in the lot can not.

Set up an account on Ford.com, they send out inside offere frequesntly. Last month they had an additional $2500 off on Super Duty's and Expeditions and $750 off everything else. That's over and above whatever you can negotiate with the dealer.

Well, I’m starting to question if $10k off is really a deal at this point. I took the advice from @wjtinfwb and created a Ford account. I used their inventory tool and looked at the incentives. Apparently, $5k of this discount is obtained via financing through Ford, which I’d prefer to not go that route. Admittedly, this dealer has been a bit cryptic about what rebates and incentives they’re building into their offer.

The dealers in my area (west TX) aren't willing to come down much more than plan A pricing on 25s. The most I've been able to squeeze out of them is 8k off a 66k MSRP badlands, 5k of which is the employee pricing incentive. If I find a 26 with similar options I'll probably get it. The measly 3k discount for a year old 'new' 25 doesnt add up for me.

Interesting, appreciate the feedback. I’m thinking I’ll wait it out. The salesman acknowledged to me that there were no other leads on the vehicle.

According to all of the replies, I’m not wrong in thinking they should come off a bit more.
Most dealers won’t

I found 95% tell you to buzz off post covid if you ask for $1 off. They went from order takers during covid. To actually having to sell post covid. Most dealers haven’t figured it out yet. And too many buyers accept horrible deals vs driving 1 hour got a better deal
