Can somebody confirm that the Extreme Duty Steering rack sold by FP is actually the same rack the Sasquatch comes with from the factory?
For MY24 and on, yes

Just had them on Jack stands I hope? Or is a lift necessary? That torque spec on the rear shocks lower bolts is quite high
Not a terrible job to do under the shade tree, with either a honkin' impact gun or a decent sized cheater bar. Just make sure you have the appropriate sized sockets - the axle nut up front is a bit large, and Ford recommends that you replace rather than reuse use (they are not expensive).

Even with that torque on the back, the hardest part about the rears is just getting the fender liner out of the way, it's really pretty easy. The front you have to wrestle with the knuckle a bit - not difficult if you strap it up but be ready for it.

Hoss kit seems to be sold out everywhere, and/or the freight charge is insane.

Patiently waiting…
I've had a set ordered for goin on three weeks now.

Dealership said they checked with Ford Performance-those guys said next batch was to be released mid to late May.

Question. Well couple of questions.

Did you guys also install the sway bar?
Will a sway bar diminish offroad performance?
I know it will diminish on road performance if not installed, but will it be to the point of dangerous? I would assume they have it for a reason.

Stock Big bend with SAS wheels and tire size.

My M-18000-B2 kit that I ordered on 4/5, finally arrived Monday.

i installed it yesterday & today. (Haven’t put the rear swaybar on, not sure if I even will)

2025 badlands non-SAS. install wasn’t to bad. I did remove the front electronic sway bar- which was literally two bolts, two nuts from studs, 4 electrical connectors, and the end links. Easy. Then removed the lower control arm camber bolts & carefully swapped out the coilovers.

need to get an alignment now.

Took it for a quick test drive up the road.- i think I’m going to like it.

(the County graded the dirt road I live on a few weeks ago, so most of the washboard is gone. But it did seem to be better over what washboard I could find to drive over. )

apparently I threw away the piece of paper that I took the initial measurements on. :(

on paper it’s supposed to be 0.43” I think. looking at it afterwards, it doesn’t really look obviously different.

One reason I was glad to get a 4 door set for my 2 door manual. Nice height bump.

UCA: Did you upgrade your Upper Control Arms, or do you plan to? For those who have added the 3.0, did you or should you? My 2021 OBX non-SAS with 85,000 miles will likely have this upgrade, can I assume the OEM UCA are worn anyway?
