It’s about time to replace the GY.
Looking at 35x12.5r17.

Any value brands worth checking out?
I like Nitto, Toyo, and Micky Thompson tires but before I go spend $$$, I was curious about cheaper but still great options.

I want a hybrid tire or an aggressive AT.

I'm planning to go with the Firestone Destination MT2, partly because it's slightly better in ice and snow than the current Goodyears and I think it will work better for the off road driving that I do. At the rate I'm wearing out my Goodyears, it will be two or three more years before I need a new set.

I bought MT Baja Boss A/Ts last fall, and after driving on them through a somewhat harsh winter, I would say that they are much better on snow/ice than the factory Goodyears and I would recommend them. Fairly quiet on the road for as aggressive as they are, lots of tread depth. I did lose about 1-1.5 mpg (they are about 30lb per tire heavier than the Goodyears) but that is a reasonable price to pay, to me.
