I love mine, but two difficulties you didn't mention. First, finding places for the little metal boxes for the alerts, not much room on either side for them....and then getting the last panel right with spacing...otherwise you have to take it all apart again. Maybe the spacer thing was solved in more recent additions...I did mine two years ago.
are you referring to the resistor box? I did not have to use that since I came from LED tail lights. I do see how this could be a struggle as I also have the blindspot monitor and it would be a squeeze in that space.

No, the blindspot boxes....one on each side. Well, huh. Now I wonder, maybe they are the resistor boxes since I have a BD, so had the halogens....can't remember now!

I have had my Flush Oracle tails for 17,000 miles and no issues. While I didn't do the amber turn signals, I'm quite happy with their standard function. Previously halogen, and didn't have to do any Forscan, just the connections with included resistors. For me, it is a nice visual upgrade compared to the bulbous OEM lenses that protruded awkwardly from the body.

Three things (maybe more) that Ford did wrong on the Broncos. 1) Taillights 2) swing out tailgate 3) IFS. The first two things are too much like jeeps...

The Oracle flush tails are a definite improvement - both functionality wise and form.

ETA: I understand the quality issue. Mine have a couple of LEDs that intermittently go out, but they work the majority of the time, so I've resisted the urge to replace them. I kept my factory LED tails in case I need to replace them...

I started out with flush mount oracles on my BD, which came stock with halogen tails. I ended up returning them after a month or so because of dead and dying LED pixels. I hope they work out for you in the long run. I've heard folks having issues with them in a year's time. I ended purchasing a set of used signatures.
Same here, 1 and a half years in and I had a replacement sent to me - thanks to Oracle they covered it free under warranty. That is the way with a lot of their stuff I have bought though. Some kind of QC issues.

The deal breaker for me here is Oracle. I started using their products many years ago on my Mustangs. I regularly had problems with Oracle leds dropping out and leaving unsightly gaps in the lighting. Now, Oracle never gave me any headaches when I had to exchange the faulty fixtures. But it happened often enough that it became a tedious hassle. It bothered me that on multiple occasions I had to remove (and wait for the replacement) of the Oracle lamps. On the Mustangs these were relatively simple indicator lamps. Taillamp assemblies multiply the hassle factor many times over. I'd be awful gunshy to trust Oracle quality in these much more involved scenarios.

That would make me a bit hesitant as well. Seems like things have gotten better with these sets, and they are responsive if there are any issues. Knock on wood, but I've had zero problems with mine. At least they aren't having the issues like the Morimoto tail lights.

Nice write up. I do like the Oracles better and even bought a set once, but the install looked like a pain in the ass and I don't trust Oracle quality long term so I resold them.
The quality on the Oracle lights leave alot to be desired. My dad bought a set for me shortly after I got my 24 OBX. Within 3 months of daily on-road driving the left taillight crapped out on me. The support I got from Oracle was useless since my dad bought them and since passed away I have no access to the information they need to get a replacement set mailed out to me. I will never trust another Oracle product.

Count me as unpopular, be it my CJs/Wrangler or new Bronco, I've never cared for the tacked on tail light appearance. It's like the designers last minute realized, hey we forgot the tail lights, let's tack on this bulbous protruding housing, lol. Plus I cracked the protruding tail light on my CJ.
Bulbous lights are the exact opposite of what you want for trails, yet the OEMs love them, Toyota being the worst offender. I'm assuming there's a regulation that states what angles they must be viewable from, similar to the regulation that mandated side marker lights after 68.

At least CJs were easy enough to switch to 4" trailer lights. My 66 Bronco was basically flush to begin with but I did oval trailer lights on it.

I know this thread is almost a year old, but didn’t find anything newer…does anyone know if Oracle solved the spacer issue, especially for the left light? Looking to install this weekend and want to know if I need to buy some. Thanks!

Not perfect, but close enough. Pretty soon the OCD will kick in and I’ll adjust it.
